Gucci inspires me yet again...

I've never been much of a yellow girl. Because of my skin tone, I hardly wear yellow and I've always just gravitated towards purples and pinks which is definitely where my wedding is headed. However, I've been noticing a lot of black, white & yellow combos in fashion lately and I was perusing Gucci's Spring 2008 RTW collection and found myself lusting over this combination in their dresses.

Look how lovely this board from snippet & ink goes with the dresses.

I also love this board from Polka Dot Bride

I'm still going with pinks, but love that I've seen several weddings incorporate this color scheme. I just see this as modern and pretty whereas the pink is modern yet sassy. And I like being sassy! :)

umm...that wedding dress in the bottom collage with the deep v...seriously gorgeous...might have to add to my future, future, wedding pile...yup. it's added. shit. two dresses in two days found on your blog! not good...lol..i've had my eye set on only one dress for about 4 years and not look what you've gone and done...*sigh*

Kay - hehe, it's good to have options right? Oh and you are a sucker for Vera Wang! :) I'm not sure what collection of hers though... I'll do some research and let you know if I find out.

I had never worn yellow either until Baddie convinced me to just hold a yellow cardigan up against me to see what it looked like. It was a rich, sunflower yellow, by the way.

Well, I ended up buying it and it's now my favourite cardigan. I *always* get compliments when I wear it.

So I would say: try yellow! You never know...

Guilty - J keeps on convincing me to try yellow. Everytime we go shopping he points out a yellow dress or sweater that he thinks I'd be cute in. I have yet tried any on. He's slowly breaking me down though...
