I was looking through a couple of beauty blogs and they all featured this nail polish collection by Zoya and I knew I had to get it. The collection is called “Gossip” and all the colors are named after the girls on “The Hills”. As much as find the show amusing, it was not reason why I bought the polish. I just loved the bright vibrant colors of this collection. I’m a girl that takes her accessories very seriously and I consider nail polish to be an accessory.
I had never bought Zoya polish before but when I saw that Zoya was actually a safer nail polish because they are “Toluene, Formaldehyde, Camphor and DBP (dibutyl phthalate) free, natural nail polish designed to be free of the most harmful toxins and provide the longest wear possible on natural nails.” I really wanted to try it out.
Here are the ones that I got:
I tried my best to show you the names of them but from L to R they are: Audrina, Lo, Elodie and Whitney.I didn’t buy Heidi or LC as they looked a bit too orangey-red for me but you can see them here.
I just got a french manicure right before I recieved these so haven’t tried them on my nails yet but tried them on my toes and they are perfect toe nail polish! I always figure if the nail polish is too bright for your fingers, it’s always perfect for your toes. I think I will still love this for my fingers and will be bringing one to my manicurist next week.
I always have a hard time ordering from online stores as I never know what to expect so just wanted to give a quick review to Art of Beauty where I purchased from. (they didn’t ask me to write this post, I swear! =) )The whole process was super easy and they had a deal going on so I even got a free nail polish. Shipping was fairly quick and the packaging was really good. The only thing that irked me was that the nail polish is supposed to be environmentally friendly but then they packaged the box with those very bad Styrofoam peanuts. Bad, bad. Hope they change that soon!
Anyway, can’t wait to see these colors on my nails! Polish Addict has a great post with all the colors so go check that out!
