I love that they are cinched at the waist and so perfectly poufy and flowy, unlike the usual maxi dresses that we are used to seeing. These would be so perfect for an outdoor dinner party on a warm summer's night. Something that we are completely not having today. sigh.

ReplyDeleteI can't help but love how they look...but a "maxi" dress on me would definitely need alterations. I'm all of five feet tall...so there' be some hemming involved. It would actually be quite lengthening on someone my size... one long column of color. And I'd certainly opt for solids. I love the idea... I just hate having to get more things altered.

franki - I hear ya. I'm not much taller than you and I get everything altered to fit me. I have quite found a maxi that looks great on me but I still like looking at them!
