One of my girlfriends is having a baby and I decided that I wanted to find something cute to make for the baby. I haven't crocheted in a long time, like 2 years but I decided to pick up my crochet hook and went hunting for a cute pattern online.
I found many a baby hat and booties but then I came upon the world of Amigurumi, which is basically the Japanese art of crocheting cute stuffed animals. I instantly fell in love and had to try one. I had low expectations considering I wasn't that great at crocheting before but here is my first project.
I made one bigger than the other so they could be boyfriend/girlfriend.
My mother in law has all these miniature furniture sets and these chairs just fit them so well.
I love them so much that I can't give these away. (Sorry Jen!) hehehe, I suppose I could make a couple more to give away :)
Just look at their faces...
