I am Quirky

I don’t think I’ve gotten tagged this much since I was a 6 years old playing the actual game of tag. I was a very small child and people liked to target me since I was so easy to catch. My little legs couldn’t run fast enough! I’m much happier being tagged this way. I hated being chased!

The ever stylish Savvy Mode tagged me to reveal 6 quirks about myself. This one, I had to put some thought into as I do have some strange things about myself but didn’t want to reveal too much. haha…

  1. When I eat burgers, I only eat the top bun. The bottom bun acts as my holder. Sometimes with sandwiches too.
  2. I hate wearing socks. I’m fine with tights or hosiery but socks, I do not like.
  3. I always set the timer on the elliptical or treadmill but I can not get off the machine if I end on an odd number. So if the timer is done but it tells me I ran 4.47 miles I continue running until it says 4.60.
  4. We do not wear shoes at home, but I do not make our guests take them off. My biggest pet peeve however is when people put their shoes on our couch or ottoman. Shoes do not belong on furniture. I get super annoyed and have to leave the room.
  5. When I spread stuff on bread like peanut butter, jam, or mayo, I put a very very thin layer on and every square inch is covered. Basically it’s such a thin layer that you can still see the bread underneath. J slathers his stuff on and makes fun of me. Says that I put on a glaze.
  6. I hate fans, especially when they are blowing directly at me. I seriously can’t stand it.

Here are the rules:

1. link back to the person who tagged you
2. mention the rules on your blog
3. tell about 6 unspectacular quirks of yours
4. tag 6 following bloggers by linking to them
5. leave a comment on each of the tagged bloggers blogs letting them know they’ve been tagged and
6. you can now display this charming dalek image Songy at Style Discovery created when tagged!

I tag..

Hahahaha.. I don’t like fans blowing on my face either. And I hate having my window open in the car. All the other windows can be open, but mine.

And I make everyone take off their shoes.

Fun! I have never been tagged before.

We are kindred spirits on the shoe thing, but I do make people take them off.

I used to just avoid bugger buns altogether. 🙂 even with my sandwiches.. I’ve got to have bread really thin not wanting to stuff myself with all that bread. 🙂

I love this tag.. it’s good to see that my dalek is getting shown to other people. That’s actually my alarm clock.

LOL!!! My husband does the EXACT same thing with his mayo, jelly etc! I’ll have to call it “glazing” next time I notice him doing that again. Very funny!

We don’t wear shoes in the house either. however I make everyone remove theirs. no shoes in the house! period.

I even purchased a bunch of slippers for those that want something on their feet. Problems with your feet and can’t remove ur shoes? I have shoe booties. . . I know.

LRB – same with the windows. Have you ever been in the backseat behind the passenger with the window open? AAAAHHH Torture!

Tara – why don’t ppl understand the general rule of no shoes on furniture? It should be a common rule!

Mrs S – Yay! I will pop over soon to read your first tag.

Songy – exactly. too much bread = too stuffed Tiffany. That’s funny! I didn’t know that was your alarm clock. What a unique clock.

savvy mode – I should make ppl take their shoes off, but we have concrete floors so that means really cold floors. It would be mean to ask people to walk around barefoot in our place.

Lo – hilarious! I do think that glazing is probably the appropriate term for it!

heidz – awesome! i thought I was the only one too. I have a weird thing with odd numbers.

P.O bride – you know, my mom does the same thing. I should probably start doing that too. I def. don’t want to make ppl walk around barefoot on our cold floors so I’ll start making them wear slippers.
