Lookbook: Issa Rocks!

I am a huge fan of We Wear Things and when Issa wore one of her handmade skirts I left a comment asking to do a trade for one of her awesome skirts and whaddya know? She said yes!

When I got her package I ripped it open as fast as I could and immediately fell in love with it! It's such a perfect little pouf skirt. Issa is pure genius. I've been wanting a skirt like this for ages but never found the right one. This purple color is the perfect complement to my wardrobe.

What I'm wearing:
Sweater: Aritzia
Shirt: Halogen (Nordstrom)
Skirt: Issa Rocks
Tights: DKNY
Shoes: Jimmy Choo

I went with the darkest black tights I own since the skirt was short and I was wearing extremely high heels. I was basically trying to make my legs look as long as possible which is really hard on someone as short legged as I am! Also since it was looking a bit sexy with the skirt and tights combo I desexified it by adding the big gray comfy cardi sweater.

I took off the sweater because I wanted a picture of the full awesomeness of the poof skirt and J took one look at me and started singing "FAME! I'm gonna live forever! I'm gonna learn how to fly!" Which I do admit my top was a bit leotard-ish especially tucked into the skirt. But still... sometimes I could smack him. :) Because of him, I have cut my upper body off but I still wanted to show you the skirt.
