Lookbook: Colored Tights

I have been slow to jump on the colored tights bandwagon but following some tips from a few other bloggers, I checked out the tights at Target and found some fun options at ridiculously low prices. I think the purple ones were on sale for $2!

What I'm wearing#1:

Blazer: Juicy Couture
Dress: Forever 21
Tights: Target
Boots: Sergio Rossi

The tights look white in the picture but are gray in person. (please excuse the picture, it was a bad face/bad hair picture day and that was the only decent picture!) At first I was going to wear a contrasting dress but settled on the tones of gray which was a good change from the black tights that I typically would have put with this outfit.

I put on the purple tights that day to discover that they were footless tights so I tucked them under my heels for a different look. I loved how the bright tights transformed this outfit which could've been pretty boring to something fun.

I am now fully sold on colored tights. Love the feature that Who What Wear did. I'm not sure if I can get away with yellow, but the blue and pink I may have to try next.
