Walks with our dogs are always the best part of my day. Not only do we get to see them wag their happy little tails, but it is always a good time to chat with my husband with no distractions of the TV, internet or phone. Plus, walking outside is something that I never did before we had dogs, but I now know how beneficial it is to just get out, stretch your legs and get some fresh air. During the summer we can walk for more than an hour and explore so many areas that we wouldn't normally go to if we were in our car.
I love these pictures that my husband took on one of our recent walks. There's nothing special about them but they really show what these walks are like. Just simple and happy.

oh my gosh that is the cutest dog! I agree with what you said about living downtown. It's also so convenient to live so close to everything :)
ReplyDeleteits crazy what being outside and walking around can do... its not only healthy it can be inspirational... especially living in the city. love your dogs! they are so cute! and your photos are fun and simple!
ReplyDeletei hope you & J have a wonderful weekend!
I do miss big city living - where everything is open 24 hours a day, where Starbucks closes at 2 in the morning, retaurants open till midnight, buzz of traffic, walking distance shops, hhhmmm... have a nice day!
ReplyDeletecute dog!! i'm more of an apartment girl too :) since i can't drive (yet) living in the city (small city but still a city) means 7 mins walk to the centre, shops, restaurants etc. what would i do if i live in the country? I'll be bored to death!! :)

your doggy is so cute!!!!
ReplyDeletewhat an adorable post. I love long walks with my honey :-)
ReplyDeleteyour pups are so darling, thanks for sharing your beautiful Seattle view! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteI love Savvy and Macho! I also love living downtown in Austin--I wouldn't trade it for anything, especially after living in a house in a more suburban area! In fact, we want to move even further into the heart of downtown.
ReplyDeleteWhat shoes do you wear on your walks? I can't seem to find cute shoes to wear when I'm walking my dogs that don't kill my feet.
ReplyDeletethat picture of his little foot in the air kills me. too precious!
ReplyDeleteAww your dogs are adorable! I totally agree, living in the suburbs is so overrated - what benefit does it have to living downtown, especially if your dt area is clean, convenient, and beautiful?! The people who tell you to move are just jealous ;)
ReplyDeleteWalking our dog every evening is my favorite part of the day, too. Days are so hectic and it's the one time when we can catch up on what's happening with us. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeletelily.splendor - in the winter it's either my Uggs or my wedge boots. In the summer, it's usually my Tory Burch flats. If it's a real long walk, J makes me put on sneakers so I don't complain about my feet hurting. haha! He bought me a pair of Nike Dunks to wear that are actually quite cute!
ReplyDeleteLove these pictures Tiffany. You know I have never lived in the city, but if given the chance...I am sure I would LOVE it! Hope you have a Happy Easter, my friend. You don't know how happy you made me with your post this week! It means a lot coming from someone I respect and admire! :)
ReplyDeleteYour dogs are so adorable!! I find city walking to be extraordinarily calming and anytime that you can spend with your pets is time well spent!
ReplyDeleteWhat cute pictures! I laughed when I read that you makes faces at your husband when he tries to capture pictures of you on your walks. Something I would do, no doubt. :)
ReplyDeleteKeep blogging! I love reading your posts!

ReplyDeleteYour pooches are so cute! I have a beagle and it is amazing how much they light up when they see the leash come out isn't it? The distraction-less time with the hubs is my favorite part though!
ReplyDeleteYour doggies are adorable!
ReplyDeleteMy heart leaps in my chest whenever I see a dachshund! They are my all time favourite breed and I can't wait until we live in a place that allows dogs so that I can have my own!
ReplyDeleteI love how Macho and Savvy look like they're prancing. Clearly, they love their walks!
