Girlfriends Guide to Gaming

I am not really into video games. I pretty much suck at them. I grew up with a little brother who dominated every single game he touched even when he was 5 years old. I always tried to play with him and ended up losing and then would beat him up because he never let me win. It’s true! Ask my brother and he’ll tell you how he had to hide from me because I would hit him every time I lost. Sore loser? maybe… 🙂

How cool! I've not been much of a gamer since my Super Mario Bros 3 days but lately I've been so intrigued by these brain fitness type games. Glad to hear you and your girlies had such a great time!

OMG I'm into the same puzzle/mind games that you are.. and one of the best games I've found was Professor Layton and the Curious Village. You need to play that on the DS because it's SO awesome and totally addicting!

HOW FUN!! I actually work IN the gaming industry (advertising), and I'm literally one of the few girls working on the agency side. Of course every guy wishes they had my job (especially my BF) because there are definite perks to it that he enjoys that I skip (e.g. Sports games, yuck).

Glad you had an amazing time, it's definitely time that girls show the guys that we too can play games!! =)

Justine emailed me too, and to be honest at first I thought it was a scam so I never looked into it too much… but, glad it worked out for you and it looks like you had a good time!

OMG, how brilliant. Such a great idea. I've been thinking of getting a dsi, I think this is the encouragement I need. My bro is a huge gamer. He lets me watch him play and when I ask if I can play, he says no, lol.

How fun! A hand held Tetris game and Wii Fit are as far as I go in the gaming world. But…if I did have a DSi I might be into it??

I cannot believe that you all got one…what a score!!

That is so cool! You're a lucky gal!!! I'm naturally a very competitive person when it comes to games….I was the same way with my younger brother, and I wonder why he's mean to me now? lol

I've been contemplating getting one for so long. Carrie Underwood had such a fun pink color in the ad she did a while back.

How fun! I wish I was your friend so I could have gotten one, haha. I have a DS (which I mostly bought because I'll buy any pink electronics) but I'm trying to convince my boyfriend to get a DSi so that I can steal it from him… and beat him at mario kart.
