I'm not a very "casual" dresser. I own very few sweatshirts and t-shirts. I think if you ask any of my friends that have known me for a long time they will probably tell you that they have never seen me in a t-shirt. And if they have it was probably only when required by my sorority during Greek Week. However, I have fallen in love with my tissue boyfriend tee from J. Crew. I had been feeling constricted earlier that day in my work clothes, so decided to change and go casual for the evening.
What I'm Wearing:
Tee: J.Crew
Jeans: Taverniti So
Shoes: Miu Miu
Scarf: Nordstrom
I tend to buy lots of basics for layering underneath things but never to wear alone, J commented how he really liked me in this outfit as he's so used to seeing me in layers. This was the first time that I was just plain and simple. Before we headed out to dinner I grabbed the scarf as I felt too plain with just the tee and the jeans.
This boyfriend tee is the perfect fit as it's not too baggy, super comfy and I like it a lot because unlike a lot of white tees I buy, this one isn't sheer so I don't have to wear a tank underneath it. I already have a black version as well and am going to pick up more colors next time I'm in J. Crew. I'm actually planning on having two sets, one for wearing to bed and one for wearing out, that's how awesome they are!

ReplyDeletethis is my daily uniform. jeans, tshirt and some fun scarf or little vest or something. sometimes if I want to be really comf I wear it with my converse...In the winter I wear it with knee high boots and a sweater...I'm telling you...uniform! :) my current favorite t is from BR - also t-shirt like...but I have to check out the jcrew ones bc it looks so pretty and simple and it fits so well!

BF tees are quite possibly the comfiest thing you can wear. I've been living in them for the past couple of days. I like this look-it's very chic but laid back at the same time. perfect combo.
