oooh you look so cute!!! I think the colors you chose are so complementary and the silver belt just makes everything POP! That's the perfect outfit to wear day or night!!
ReplyDeleteThat's a great outfit... I think there's still contrast there - it's just that you chose hues that matched and that complement each either but the cardigan is more subtle than the dress so they work really well together. Love the belt as well... I agree it's the perfect accessory.
ReplyDeleteYou look like a very pretty grape! haha. Completely kidding! I love the colors together a lot, it doesn't look like purple overkill like one would expect. Very pretty :)
ReplyDeleteI love wearing monochromatic colors together. :) Tiffany, you are petite like me. Please, please PLEASE do a post about how to wear belts as well as you do. I feel like they're essential for defining a small figure, but cannot figure out how to pull it off! :)
ReplyDeleteYour lashes look amazing! And you do rock the heck outta your belts!
ReplyDeleteI love the mix of colors but I really think that it you had belted the cardigan and the dress together, the look would be a little sleeker. I'm not some kind of fashion expert but the silhouette is kinda off. Love your FOTD though!
ReplyDeleteI think purple is ALWAYS good!
ReplyDeletei like your mix of tone on tone. ps. i just want to comment on those beautiful long lashes.... : )
ReplyDeleteyou are sooo cute!! those colors are amazing on you!!
ReplyDeletegorg outfit.. love it
ReplyDeleteLove the shoes!
ReplyDeletePurple hues look fabulous on you (older posts as well)! Loving those shoes & your FOTD is super cute :)
ReplyDeleteYou & your hubby take such beautiful pictures, so talented.

Thanks for stopping by and for your lovely comments :)
perfect! Just enough contrast to keep it from being boring. And the colors all work so well together. And I wish I had you hair, haha.

Very cute, I like how you matched the tones together. That belt look awesome, I agree that it's more of an accessory than a necessity to hold up pants! The comment about belting it around your cardigan is a good alternate idea too.
ReplyDeleteI love it all! I think the belt would look cute outside of the cardigan too (belt the dress and cardigan together) it's a very Pacific NW style! Cute cute cute
ReplyDeleteSuper cute outfit! Purple is definitely one of my favorite colors!!
ReplyDeleteI love all the colors ...I'm not so good with that either though ...usually, it's one color and black or a neutral ...I'm trying to mix it up though. I also have a hard time mixing patterns but some do it so well. This is great on you. And your hair is adorable!
ReplyDeleteWhat I would give for your hair!!!!! Look adorable as always!!
ReplyDeleteI love your hair! (I am echoing the comments of many others here but it always looks so good!) I also love the shoes and the belt.
ReplyDeleteI love adding a belt to dresses. It just makes it so much stylish and gives you more shape!

That dress looks great on you and goes so well with the pink cardi.
ReplyDeleteYour ahir looks amazing as well.
aww ur so cute "FOTD" term!! I swear you can pull off any outfit for a petite girl! And the side braid thing? GAWJUSSSSSSSS lol I love to do that to my hair its so fun and flirty!
ReplyDeletethat sweater balances out your dress perfectly and i can't believe it's F21!
ReplyDeleteThe outfit is cute! Your hair goes perfectly with the outfit.
ReplyDeleteLoving the purples! I agree w/ the belt statement too. They are for accessories not holding up your pants/skirt/etc!
ReplyDeleteso cute! and i too LOVE that belt! it bring the whole outfit to another level
ReplyDeleteThat color looks great on you! Wow forever is so stepping it up! Your hair and make-up=gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteyou look adorable, I love everything and you are the BEST and mixing high and low:)
ReplyDeleteI especially love your hair today...so pretty!
ok tiffany i'm totally stalking your blog again. i think how you wore it is perfect. The dress fits your body perfectly. i think belting it with your cardigan would just make it bulky on top.
ReplyDeleteyep...purple is definitely your color. :)
ReplyDeletei like the colors! beautiful, unexpected combination
ReplyDeleteOh that french twist is soo pretty! Totally chic outfit. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you all for your nice comments!
ReplyDeleteashley.star - you are too sweet. I will try to do a post on belts and how to wear them. will try to get a few outfits together for it! thanks for the suggestion.
And all who suggested I belt over the cardigan, to be honest, it doesn't look great that way. To belt over the cardigan, the belt looks better at my natural waist and not underneath the bust. It, like Kelly pointed out, would create too much bulk. It's all about proportions! :)
If you want to see how I wear my belt over my cardigan check out my "brown & gold" lookbook
i love the entire outfit including your hair and make up. you look amazing!!
ReplyDeleteLove this look! I would never have guessed that the dress is F21....I love what you did with the belt & how you did your hair...So professional and trendy!
ReplyDeleteadding that belt is the perfect contrast. love it.
ReplyDeletei don't think i would have thought of that color combo! but it looks fantastic!
ReplyDeleteWow, I love how you combined different tones of purple! And I love the look of adding a belt to an outfit, but I have this weird problem where I totally can't digest my food when I wear anything around my waist! Oh well, I guess that's a personal problem ;)
ReplyDeletelove the dress! w/ what it's paired, it looks very expensive! i recently went dress shopping and was quite surprise of the items I found at Target. For the price of 1 dress I would've bought at a department store, I bought 4 at Target! I felt like I won the lottery! :)
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos. You look fantastic. I really like what you're wearing.
ReplyDeleteI love F21, especially their dresses ! Your dress is sooo gorgeous!
ReplyDeletefab! fab! fab! looking gorgeous as ever!
ReplyDeleteLOVE THIS!
