Pairing black blazers with summery patterned dresses and black tights like this outfit from Thread Social.
Fall shoes, especially these gray slouchy boots by Stella McCartney and perfect black booties by Christian Louboutin. Both at Net-a-Porter.
For a more affordable option, I found these adorable gray booties from Report and just ordered them. I'll let you know how they turn out!

And lastly, I can not wait to start wearing and buying cozy cardigans again. Cardigans have to be my most favorite piece of clothing ever, I have no clue how I'd live without them! This Theory cardigan is just perfect in every way.

ReplyDeleteThe shoes are so pretty.
ReplyDeleteNoooooooooo I'm clinging desperately to summer weather! :(
ReplyDeleteBut I'll take one of each of your boot picks, please!
I'm in love with that first outfit. I've been inspired. I'm crazy about cardigans, too. I just ordered a boatload from J.Crew so I'm ready for fall!

i am getting ready for fall too. i can't wait until the temp cools down so we can go hiking at a decent hour instead of waking up at 6 in the morning.
ReplyDeleteI love EVERYTHING on this list! I am crazy about those coccoon (sp?) cardigans...I want to get cozy and wear boots! YAY!!!
ReplyDeleteI have been eyeing those loubies, they are so perfect! I can't wait for fall...I'm over summer clothes!
ReplyDeleteThose boots are great! All of them! And the shoes in the first pic look great w/ those black tights and dress! Good finds, as always! :)
ReplyDeleteAwesome choices, darling. I've propelled straight into fall, especially with the yucky summer we've had here in Colorado. I'm having a hard time planning what to wear for a wedding I'm attending (in Kansas, yeesh!) Labor Day weekend- I'm already yanking out my wool dresses and tights and I know that is going to be SO wrong, but I simply can't get my mind to switch back to summer.
ReplyDeleteI love that first black blazer. I love it love it love it and I need it.
I'm with ya on the fall items, I am so looking forward to being cozy and warm in cardigans and sweaters. You've also swayed me towards getting some great boots too....aaaah...will my bank account survive? : )
ReplyDeleteI just went on a "transitional clothing" shopping spree Sunday! I bought a lot of flowy floral tops & dresses that I can still wear for the rest of the summer and they're going to look great in the fall under a long cardigan or blazer. It's my day-after-birthday tradition that I've been adhering to for the past decade! Thanks for sharing these gorgeous boots- I love Endless and their FREE overnight shipping!
ReplyDeletei was just telling my friend today that i cant wait for fall to get here too! seems like summer weather just arrived here in NYC...but, yuck i hate it! i hate sweating, city heat, and summer wardrobe. can't wait to bust out my sweaters and blazers and tights and start LAYERING again! yay!
ReplyDeleteso funny that my comment comes right after Diane's! It's true that it does seem that summer just started in nYC bc the weather has been so dreadful but I love it. No, I don't love the sweating and the heat on the subway platform but I love when it's really hot out...and when it's cold here in winter it's COLD...this winter in particular was horrible. so..I'm still enjoying the weather while I can and looking forward to a couple of months from now when I can bust out my boots again:)
ReplyDeleteI love the sweater from shopbop! It's still over 100 here, or I'd be thinking about my fall wardrobe too! I can't wait to get my skinny jeans and tall frye boots out :)
ReplyDeletei like those booties! do let us know how it is when you get it =)
ReplyDeleteAww I will miss summer when I'm stuck in the eternal wet greyness that is Vancouver winters, but your fall picks make the coming cold seasons seem a tad more tolerable.
ReplyDeletelove that outfit from the first photo...
ReplyDeleteI like the first dress :)
ReplyDeleteSo not ready for fall :(
I love everything you picked out, especially the Stella McCartney boots! They are so chic and match everything! Check out my blog at allthingsvogue.blogspot.com

Way...tooo....hot....to think of fall!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to hear about those Report booties cuz I'm LOVING those!
ReplyDeletei love the grey booties. I actually purchased an ankle bootie during nordie's half yearly sale... and while I'm excited for fall/ winter months to come so I can wear it, I'm a bit apprehensive too as I do not know how to pair it my outfits.. Tiff, can you possibly create a few look book to help us?
ReplyDelete:)
love the cardigan and the grey boots. Somehow everyone seems to be done with summer, except me, I am still enjoying the sun may be because it never gets too hot around here and when it does the cribbing starts. Anyways but on my last shopping trip I too was looking for pieces that will easily transition to fall items
ReplyDeletewoooweee I love everything pink! :) Have a great weekend!
