Lookbook: Sparkly

I don’t wear a lot of big prints. I actually think for petite girls, most big prints are too overwhelming, but sometimes the pattern just works. This is one of those dresses. I got this dress last summer and it’s just one of those that I only wear on a really sunny day where I feel a print like this is necessary.

What I’m Wearing:
Dress: from Nordstrom Brass Plum
Shoes: Coach
Headband Lisa Kathryn Designs

The best part of the outfit though was the headband from Lisa Kathryn Designs! The Float Away headband was the perfect amount of sparkly I needed for this outfit. Isn’t it gorgeous?

Sponsor Spotlight!

Lisa Kathryn Designs is also one of my sponsors for August and I am so happy to represent her store on my blog. She makes the most beautiful headbands at great prices and I would recommend them to everyone. She just graduated college with a degree in design and merchandising but she is already quite established with her online shop! I am always impressed and fully support women who can turn something they love to do into their business.

Some info from Lisa:
Lisa Kathryn Designs is a handmade line of hair accessories. Each piece is made with love and designed to be comfortable, stylish and eye-catching. Lisa Kathryn Designs makes every piece unique offering you elegant style for an everyday price.

I think all girls need a little sparkle in their life (the jewel in the rough collection is my favorite). They are like tiaras only more fun!

Lisa is offering my readers a 10% discount off everything on her store! Just use the code “IamStyle” to get the discount.

I am loving this one from her store but she has so many pretty ones, go check them out!

Yay! So glad it’s Friday! Have a fabulous weekend my loves!!

My gosh woman. You can do no wrong. I love absolutely everything you pick out but this dress has so much sass and perky prettiness to it. It's just sensational. You look absolutely marvelous. Everything is perfect. The shoes, the dress, the sunglasses, the perfect headband ( which I will be checking out immed- by the way!)

You'd never be able to tell that large print is something you may not do all the time. This outfit is perfect. I want everything.. EVERYTHING!!

    I'm a fellow petite one – with size 5 feet 😉
an I've been on the hunt for a good pair of sunglasses! I dont' want frames that are too oversized that would overwhelm my face. What sunglasses are you wearing in this picture- and what other styles would you suggest for smaller faces?

Hi Tiffany-this dress is so cute. One of my best friends has this dress and she belt it with a black leather belt and it gave it some shape. She's very petite like you. I'm going to check out those sparkly headbands too!

Bambi – the sunglasses I'm wearing are Marc by Marc Jacobs but I got them last year so they are no longer in stores. however, I find that Marc by Marc Jacobs and Chanel are my two favorite brands for my face shape. I really like glasses with a bigger rounder frame but not too round! and I find that aviators also look great on a small face.

Christen – no, the dress has straps, my hair is covering the straps. 🙂
