I Heart You

I've been sitting here for about 20 minutes now, writing and re-writing this post but to be honest, I'm a bit too emotional and I can't properly write. So this is going to be short and sweet.

I've been through a lot in the past year. I know I write this blog that's all fluff and fun stuff but it's because I like fluff and fun stuff. It keeps me happy. I'm a naturally positive and optimistic person but when stuff gets me down, it gets me down.

I haven't had much energy lately to comment or tweet because I've got a lot of stuff going on in my life right now but I did want to say THANK YOU to all of you. Your comments, emails, tweets, even just knowing you are reading means so much to me. I love blogging and being a part of this community. I've met the most amazing friends ever and have even been lucky enough to meet some of you in real life and take pretty pictures of your wedding day or your beautiful families. You all have changed my life in the best way possible and even when I am having a bad day, coming here to read my comments or reading through your blogs, always brings a smile to my face.

Happy Thanksgiving and happy everything to you and yours. I believe life should be full of laughter and fun so I hope that throughout this holiday season you get to have plenty of that in your lives.

This post actually made me teary only because I feel exactly the same way about blogging. It is one of the top things that I am thankful for this year. I'm so sorry this year has been hard on you and I admire that you are still able to see the many things you have to be thankful for. I wish you a very Happy Thanksgiving and hope this next year brings you many more things to be thankful for!

First time poster. You do a fantastic job of presenting the good, happy stuff you want to share. I'm guessing our sentiments are similar. Just remember that things never stay the same. They always change. And things always work out even though we can't see it at the time.

awwwwww. you are the sweetest person ever.

in this 'blog world' it's often hard to tell/know that something is going on with someone. something that could have them really down and not like themselves. i want to send my heart felt wishes to you and to tell you to keep your head up - things will get better...though it may not look that way.

i've been reading your blog waaaaaay back when it was a wedding planning blog! and i thought you were about to throw in the towel. so while your posts may be infrequent now it's totally understandable. take care of what you need to for you and your family and we'll be here when you return!

This is truly one of the sweetest posts I have read all year. I can't help but to admit that I feel the same way. Regardless of what is going on externally in my life, blogging has been a constant, and all of the blogger friends I have met over the past year have been a non-stop support system. It is amazing to see how people whom you have never so much as met in person can make such a profound impact on your life - but it's so empowering at the same time. I am thankful, this year, for my blogging buddies.

I hope that everything you're going through turns out well in the end. You are an amazing person and deserve nothing but the best! :)

I'm sorry to hear this year's been tough. I gotta admit I cover up with fluff at times too - I think we have to at times. Not cause it's good to hide it - but good to do things that'll just cheer us up and get us out of the blues :)
