Lookbook: Over the knee boots

I was on a quest for over the knee boots and am happy that I have finally found them! I decided to do flat over the knee boots as the line between hot over the knee boots and hooker over the knee boots is pretty slim and I’m just not ready to take that risk. However, if I had super long legs, I would totally get these over the knee boots. Now those are hot (if not a bit hookerish. ha!)

What I’m Wearing:
Sweater: Mango
Top: H&M
Skirt: Aritzia
Tights: DKNY
Boots: Enzo Angiolini

I love being able to wear skirts in the winter and stay relatively warm with these boots. As you can see they are not extremely over the knee but they hit just above it, which for my height and my shorty legs, is perfect.

They have these boots in gray too which I might have to get. At $120, they are totally affordable (at least in my book). The one thing that bugs me are those leather strings in the back. They don’t exactly stay tied so then they end up whipping me in the legs as I walk. Ouch! I need to cut them down which I think will help fix the problem.

You can roll the top down too if you don’t want the over the knee boot. Either way, I think they are cute, oh and very comfortable! I’ve had a few comments/emails about finding boots to fit over calves and I think that these ones are pretty roomy. I don’t think my calves are big, but I also know that they aren’t tiny and I have plenty of room when I slip my leg in. I think even if you have bigger calves you’d be able to slip into these comfortably.

Is it just me or don’t they look better on?

Mine don’t scrunch just at that one spot, they are kinda scrunchy all over the boot so ignore this horrible picture and trust me when I say they are cute. 🙂

I decided to put together a new thing for my lookbooks, basically a “shop my lookbook.” Some of the things will be what I’m wearing, some of my older items that are no longer in stores I will pick out similar items. That way if you are interested in any piece that I’m wearing, you can actually buy it!

Great post, I love your boots & good idea on the "shop my lookbook!" If you do decide to get over the knee boots that aren't flat, I would love to see what you pair them with so that they don't look too hookerish! I bought a pair but I'm too scared to wear them.

You could totally pull of hot high heel over the knee boots with a pair of slim jeans and a long pull over sweater … =)
I love the flat boots better because its just more comfortable and realistic during the colder months. Plus, here in canada we get over a feet of snow! Warmth and comfort is key! LOL

Great idea with "Shop my lookbook" Tiffany! Your boots do look better on.

I have a pair of Coach boots that are almost over the knee on me – there is a benefit to being shorter 🙂

Those OTK boots look FANTASTIC on you! I am really short too, but I actually think the over the knee boots make short people look taller- if worn right, of course. This outfit is a perfect example of this. Gorgeous cardi too!

    Must…. Try…. Resist….

Oh, who am I kidding. $120? Gray? Flat? Over the knee? Yeah. Totally buying, before they sell out in my size. I need a pick-me-up anyhow, because my weekend just went down in flames before it even begun.

That's a fab purchase — and worth getting two. I think for winters, boots are the long-haul wearables, and if you had to break down the cost-per-wearing on that item, it would be down to pennies a day. The gray ones are divine. I'm such a sucker for gray these days!!

Tiffany you always look so polished and put together.. I absoloutely love that about you! You're such an inspiration. I wish I had the energy (and funds too) to always look sooo great. I love dressing up and fashion, but sometimes I just want to put on jeans, a tee, and thongs. 🙂 I Live on an island (Maui), so I guess that's ok.. hee hee. Great boots btw. Take care & have a lovely weekend.

    Love & Aloha.
