And the collection grows...

I finally got around to taking pictures of another pair of new shoes. I have to admit, I ADORE taking pictures of my shoes. Especially ones that are as pretty as these! I spent so much time setting these shots up, styling, lighting, etc... but I had fun! Anyway, no need for more words, onto the pictures...
Get the shoes here or similar style here and here.
Necklace similar style

The necklace is a Christmas gift form my sister. Isn't it fabulous? I thought it paired really nicely with the shoes.

Preview of another new pair coming soon!

so many sales, so little time

I have so very little self control when it comes to sales. I can't handle all the sales going on right now! I do have to say though that the online sales are much better than going to the stores. I went shopping with my mom and sister the day after Christmas and didn't find many good sales at all. However, I have found many a things from my most frequented online shopping sites...

I need more fancy occasions to wear pretty dresses like this.

Lookbook: Knee Socks

I adore all of you fashion bloggers out there as I get so many new ideas and inspiration from outfits. Emily inspires me to wear fun, unexpected shoes with my frilly girly dresses, WendyB inspires me to wear more prints and red lipstick, Issa inspires me to look through my closet and find old stuff to make it "new" again and this outfit was inspired by Chloe in which I never would've tried knee socks until I saw it on her. I love me some tights but the knee socks are such a cute alternative! Thanks Chloe, I'm sold!

What I'm Wearing:
Cardigan: J Crew
Top: Forever 21
Skirt: Aritzia
Shoes: Jimmy Choo
Knee Socks: Nordstrom

The belt on this is the same satin ribbon from the "Bow tied" lookbook, I just tied the bow in the back. I wish you could see the cardigan better because it has rosettes near the collar. Super cute! And my Jimmy Choo mary janes were perfect for this outfit don't you think?

I noticed the fabulous Vera Wang also had knee socks in her Pre-Fall runway show. Adore!

I got a few emails about not being able to see my "shop the lookbook" if you read my blog through a reader. I think the widget I was using just can't be read through a reader. So I had to change the format and hope this works for everyone!

::The Cardigan::
J Crew

this basic J Crew cardi is also fab or if you like rosettes, then definitely this cardi.

::The Top::
Graham & Spencer

or this top if you like bigger polka dots or this pretty top if you'd rather have a floral print.

::The Skirt::

Or this skirt at a fabulous price (you will wear it all the time!), but you can't do wrong with this one either!

::The Knee Socks::
Make sure that they fit well so that they stay up but also not too tight so they create a sausage effect!

These wool ones might keep you a bit warmer, and if you want to spice things up, I am loving these pink tipped socks!

::The Mary Janes::

These Jimmy Choo's aren't quite as high but just as cute! But if you are a fan of the red sole, these mary janes need to be yours! I also have to include these, aren't the python heels gorgeous?!

Party Time!

We've got some fun but low key plans for this New Year's eve and I will be getting dressed up and saying GOODBYE to the suckiness that is otherwise known as 2009. (2009 has been a terrible year for me and I am so ready for it to be over.)

I've gotten a few questions from readers that have a hard time figuring out what to wear for their New Year's eve parties or what accessories to pair with dresses so I've put together a few looks with my favorite dresses. I've included the accessories I'd pair it with and the makeup to pull the look together!

Look #1:
Alice + Olivia

This dress is already really pretty on its own but I think the lace tights will add a fun element. The black pumps won't take away from the tights but adding a few pretty accessories will be perfect for a little bit of bling and shine. I kept the makeup pretty simple but with lots of touches of bronze and golds. I'm a huge fan of bright nail polish colors and I think the pink is perfect for this little dress!

Don't you love the ruffles on this dress? I think adding the headband is perfect for a party and you don't need too many other accessories but a couple of big rings. For the makeup, I would really play up the eyes with this outfit. A simple smokey eye with lots of eye liner and of course pretty false lashes! Light pink lips and bright red nails completes the look.
