I forgot what store I was at but I saw that they styled the mannequins with a scarf tied up like a bow and I thought it was the neatest idea! I'm always wearing scarves but have never thought to wear it like this. I felt like a big present.

The lighting was horrible so I had to move to the other side of the street so you can actually see the colors of the outfit! I'm wearing the Tuxedo Cardigan from J Crew and I love it. I guess this is my version of a tux + bowtie :) I've had this sparkly tank from so long ago when I was in my early 20's and I went to the clubs and bars and stuff. Oh the good ol' days. Those days are loooong past but for some reason I kept the tank. I think it was just the right amount of sparkle for the day.
Oh and yes my newest Miu Mius! They are so pretty and so comfortable, I never want to take them off. I have this "rule" that I don't wear the same shoes two days in a row (it's bad for the shoe, you have to let it breathe and keep it's shape) but I wore these two days in a row and my husband was shocked!

These Stuart Weitzman pumps have great height to them and also love these Dolce Vita pumps for a bit of a wedge/pump look.

ReplyDeleteAwesome idea with the scarf. Isn't it funny how that happens? I have so many "Oh, duh" moments myself with fashion- I would have never thought to tie a scarf into a bow, and it isn't something I've seen done elsewhere, but still- such a simple concept! I love it!
