LOL!
When I opened my package from We Love Colors, I was a bit iffy because I wasn't sure if I could pull off these blues. They look so, I don't know, BLUE. And not sure if it was my kind of blue...
But, here I am with my lookbook and I actually did end up really liking them! They call this "Dusty Green" but it looks really blue to me. Although when I came downstairs in this outfit my husband exclaimed "Those are some minty green legs!" so maybe it's just depends on the lighting.

I own a lot of tights, I buy them everywhere from Target, Forever 21 to Nordstrom. I can really tell the quality of tights and these We Love Color tights are some of the best quality that I've ever owned. They are thick and stretchy and don't feel like they are going to run if you just pull it wrong. That's my problem with my favorite DKNY tights. Those things run even if you just look at them the wrong way! I end up buying DKNY tights in bulk because I run each pair after almost every other wear, it's irritating to say the least. Anyway, I think I got a lot of attention from my very blue (green) legs that day, I don't think anyone in my office building has ever worn or seen tights in this color!

ReplyDeleteWow tiffany! I love the tights. Although, may I suggest you try wearing them with something else. The black makes the contrast too stark. Perhaps wearing it with other pastel colours but you may not like the all-over ethereal look.

ReplyDeleteWow! I love that pop of color, but I cannot pull those off. I tried on light gray tights the other day and could not even do those (but they were poor quality, uneven-toned Banana Republic ones). I was about to order these online in a dark gray using your free shipping code but wasn't sure about the quality, since they are pricey for tights compared to say, H&M or Forever21. Glad to know!

ReplyDeleteI think you wore them wonderfully! When people (myself included) wear super bright tights with non-neutrals, it more often than not does not work. You made a very good choice to pair those puppies up with black and grey :).
