Here's the look...

And you've seen this picture before but it's the same look but outside in natural light

The Eyes:
If you don't own this product, go buy it now and thank me later. This is the best product ever for eye makeup. It is just a fantastic base and holds onto your eye makeup. I can go through the entire day and never retouch my eye makeup because of this product.
It's crucial to have the right tools especially when doing your eyes so I really like this angled brush when using gel eyeliners. I also use this brush for powder eyeliners.
I used this trio for the rest of my eye look.
Using a small angled brush, apply the darkest color to the outer corner of my eyes.
Using a little bit of a larger brush I put the bronze color in the inner corners and blend to the dark color.
Using a fluffy blush, use the lightest color to blend all the colors together and above your eyelid, stop right before the brow bone.
Apply this eyeliner to the bottom of your eye, as close to your eyeline/waterline as possible.
Using this small brush, dab a little bit of black eye shadow on top of the eyeliner that you just applied above.
Fill in the brows with this brow powder to create a defined brow.
The best eyelash curler ever...
After curling apply this waterproof mascara. I've always been a fan of waterproof mascara as it seems to hold curl a lot more than non-waterproof and it never leaves dark mark underneath your eyes.
The rest:
A bit of blush all over the apples of the cheeks. I apply it pretty heavy in the morning because by mid-afternoon it's pretty much gone and just the right hint of blush shows up for the rest of the day.
Use this brush for an easier way to apply to the cheeks.
Use a good pinky-nude color for the perfect lipgloss.
And voila! There you go, my look for the day!

I like the look! Thanks for the tutorial. The last time I went to Hong Kong I picked up about 5 of those Shu Uemura curlers ... they were half the price there of what they are in the US! Now I will never run out : )
ReplyDeleteGreat look especially in glasses! :-)
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely weekend!
♥
okay... I didn't even know gel liners existed! I am so going to get some now. I usually just rub my liner brush across a pencil about 500 times until I get enough on it... so I'm pretty sure gel will be a huge help, heh.
ReplyDeleteWow! Great tip from PetiteAsianGirl on the Shu curlers!!! Great tutorial Tiffany! Nice close-ups!
ReplyDeleteI am faithful to B.E./Bare Minerals too. It's one of the only powder/foundations OK with my eczema and sensitive skin.
