My Week in iPhone Pictures

Most of the time, I take my camera with me when I travel, even on business trips. This last trip that I took though, I just wasn't able to bring it with me. Traveling alone means that I have to carry everything myself and little me isn't strong enough to carry hundred pounds of luggage, so decided to leave my camera at home and take advantage of my iPhone camera. I ended up taking quite a few pictures throughout the week and it's fun to have them in my phone. Like Chase Jarvis says, "The best camera is the one that's with you." You don't need a fancy camera all the time to take nice pictures. Just use what you have and be creative with it.

Anyway, I just thought I'd share the pictures that I took last week. A bit of a week in the life of Tiffany in the form of iPhone pictures. :)

I started the week out on a plane so I thought this was an appropriate picture of the day.

I'm a pretty seasoned traveler since I travel so much for business and vacation, so I've got the whole security line thing down pat. It was so funny this time as I walked through, did my thing and the guy behind me stopped me before I left with my stuff and said "I just need to tell you how much I appreciate you as a woman, being prepared and going through this security line so efficiently. My wife takes FOREVER!" I laughed so hard. I was like "Uh, I do this 4 times a month, I'm pretty experienced."

I had dinner and drinks with a co-worker at a fancy shmancy restaurant at the top of a hotel and the view was gorgeous. This picture doesn't do it justice but I love that you can see all the varying colors in the sky.


My morning coffee...

It's funny that I live in downtown Seattle and there's at least 2 Starbucks in every one block here but I haven't been to one in years. There are just too many other independent coffee shops here that have much better coffee/espresso and I'm a bit of a coffee snob. I'm a coffee purist, I like it black and I like it strong but I want it to be GOOD. I think Starbucks is only good at the foofy kind of drinks that have taken over the world and I just don't like those. Their drip coffee is just okay. However, when I travel, it's nice to see a familiar brand and know what to expect so really the only times I go to Starbucks is when I'm not in Seattle!

Picture messages from my husband always make me happy to see what's going on at home. :)


Snow in March? Really? I'm glad that I don't live here full time!


I loved this sign. It made me laugh and then made me really want to see a moose! ( I didn't see one)


My makeup/skincare takes up a huge part of my suitcase. This is only just a smidge of what I bring. Before I travel, I always have dreams that I forget my makeup and then I freak out about it. I have no idea why because I've never forgotten it but it's a recurring dream!


Another picture message from the hubs. Macho smiling in his sleep! Sooo cute!


Finally, on my way home! Flying over the mountains is breathaking but I have to say I was so happy to see the bright greens when we flew over Seattle!


Now I'm back home but soon to be off on vacation with the hubs and the in-laws... Maybe I'll do another week in pictures! :)
