Weekend Update5:00 AM
As usual, I'm going nuts with everything going on so thought I'd give you all an update on my life!
I didn't want to announce this earlier but... I started a new job! I loved my last job but there were a lot of things that I was unhappy about. I loved what I did, I just didn't love the environment. Right as I made the decision about leaving, I was approached with a fantastic opportunity that allows me to travel a few times a month and work from home when I'm not traveling. I set my own hours and since my husband works from home as well, we get to enjoy working together! I'm not going to talk more about my job as a lot of what I do is confidential and before starting I signed a contract that I would keep it confidential and well, I don't want to be sued. :) I can tell you is that it is still in HR and I'm still doing what I love. It is more seniority and still allows me to grow in my career and expands my experience in so many ways. It's the perfect job that came at the perfect time. I may still be in the "honeymoon phase" with it but I am loving it.
A few of you have asked if I could do some more "lifestyle" posts like I used to. When my blog was still in the early stages, I did a lot more posts about my life, what I did on a daily basis, our dogs, my family. At this point, I don't know how comfortable I am in revealing more than I already do but I feel like my formspring is a great forum for me to talk about those things with all the questions that I've been getting. A lot of you are asking me if I'm crazy and why if my inbox is packed, did I open my formspring back up? Well, the answer to that is that I often get the same questions month after month. Since everyone can read my formspring, if people have the same question, they can all see my answer and I only have to answer it once, not 3-4 times a month. I still get a few of the same questions but I do have to say that my inbox is much much better since having the formspring back up! Anything I deem too personal, I will not answer, but feel free to keep asking away!
My Project 365 is going well. You may have seen some of these on my sidebar if you visit my blog as I change the picture every week, but here are some of my favorites:
Lastly, things I've recently bought that I am loving.
Just got this top coat to transform any nail polish to a matte finish.
Obsessing over nude pumps. I tried these on at Nordstrom (it comes in a lighter nude color that I like) and they were a top contender...
but bought these instead. Louboutins always win in my book.
I'm very loyal to my Lucy and Nike workout leggings but I just found this brand at Nordstrom and LOVE it. Bought these pants:
They are about $30 less than my favorite Lucy ones but they are just as nice!
On one of my trips I forgot to pack my beloved Dior Show Mascara and I ran to the grocery store to get something and ended up with this Lash Blast. I love it! For a drugstore mascara this works great, it's become a staple in my makeup bag.
Yay it's Friday! Have a great weekend everyone!
a typical sassy look from my Savvy :)
