Lookbook: Ruffle Trench

Finally, the ruffle trench that I mentioned back in this post. It's actually still been a bit too cold for this jacket as it's a pretty lightweight jacket but I've worn it a few times and I love how it looks on. The ruffle collar is such a cute touch to a regular trench.

What I'm Wearing:

I added more ruffles with this blouse, obviously a ruffle lover here :) Just a simple outfit that was perfect for the gray day that we were having. The shooties are working out excellent with this kind of weather. Not as constricting as full knee-high boots and keeps my feet warm when it rains!

Oh, but the best part was my necklace! Jenny, the designer of Albeit Jewelry, is a friend of a friend and when she reached out to me to tell me about her jewelry line I was in love! Her necklaces are so delicate and although I've seen a lot of jewelry incorporate letters and numbers, I've never seen it like this.

I had to have one and instead of choosing a "T" I wanted to have a "9" as that's what hubs and I have decided is "our" number. We are so cheesy! But yes that is "our" number. It's a long story but a lot of good stuff has happened to us on the 9th day, the 9th month, the 9th year, etc... One day we were talking about all the coincidences of the number 9, like we got officially got married in September (9th month) and then our wedding in Jamaica was supposed to happen on the 8th but because of the hurricane we ended up having it on the 9th. So many other things too, but that's kind of how we deemed 9 as our number!

The ones I'm wearing are more straight leg than I usually wear (I'm a skinny jean kind of girl) but I really like the straight leg and the dark wash, kind of like these and these.

She's got letters too and I love how this H is connected to the necklace.
