The same but different (2!)

I had fun searching for designer look-a-likes in my last Same but Different post so I thought I'd look some more and found quite a few! I'd like to mention that I think all of these "similar styles" are totally fun and great to see maybe where their inspiration comes from. I however, do not feel the same about replicas and fakes. I get a lot of emails asking me to authenticate websites that sell Louboutins and the like at low prices and if they should buy from there. Unless the website is Saks, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Barneys and the other well known major retailers, I will always say No. I will never tell you to buy from any other websites as I've never purchased my designer stuff from anywhere else other than those mentioned. I'd like to be clear that I am not an "authenticator", I'd recommend that if you find a website that sells stuff like Louboutins at a low price to google that website with the word "fake" after it. Often times you will find other people talk about the same site and verify that it is indeed fake. I do not feel comfortable being emailed about these sites because I can not tell you for sure what is real and what is fake. All I can tell you is that I've never purchased any designer goods from any of these lower priced sites and I don't ever care to. My rule, if it's too good to be true, than it probably is so save your money to buy the real thing from a reputable retailer. And if you don't want to plunk down the $$$, take a look at my picks below to see that you can get similar designs for a really great price!

This Lanvin tote is adorable but the price makes me cringe. The J Crew tote is just as cute and affordable!

I can not get over the Alexander Wang bags. I adore all his designs. These drawstring/bucket bags are totally "in" right now which is great but I don't like to spend a lot of money for trends that may just last a year or two. The Banana Republic bag is not as fab but the price definitely is!

Another fabulous A. Wang bag that I want but the cheaper version at $40 is fab too!

These two look so alike it's almost like somebody straight up copied the other. But either way, I love these wedges and if you don't mind not having the Miu Miu version you'll save $480!

Love the little "poof" on these. The Loubies are pretty but the Steve Maddens are a great look-a-like.

Lots of fun "inspirational" fashion out there! Do you mind the inspirational pieces or would you rather get the real thing? Personally, I like to save up for the real thing but if I want a quick fix, I think the inspirational pieces are great to have!
