Formspring (it's open again)1:24 PM
After a few requests and emails from readers of "what happened to your formspring?" I've re-opened it to let readers read through the previous questions. It sounds like the "more" button is finally working (glad that they are finally fixing that buggy site!) so for all of you that have asked, here's the link. You can ask new questions, I can't promise that I will answer them right away but I will get to them when I can. Also, I have a bazillion questions in my inbox about career advice and I do have to apologize how long it's taken me to get back to those who have asked. It always takes me a bit to answer these kinds of questions as I want to make sure to take the time to give the best advice. I haven't had much free time lately to just sit down and think about my answers but will get back to you as soon as I can. I am flattered to have so many young women trust me for career advice and I am happy to help. I feel bad taking so long to get back to you. I promise you I'm not ignoring you, I am going to make some time to answer my emails in the next week or so!
Many of the questions I get are about getting into HR and or about advancing in your career so here are some of the questions that I've been asked on my formspring that may help those of you who have the same type of questions.
How did you get into HR? Did you have to start as an hr assistant and work your way up or we're you lucky enough to bypass the entry level positions?
What advice can you give about advancing in your career? What can I do to move quickly? What did you do to impress?
Hi Tiffany, I'm a recent graduate and was wondering if you have any tips for finding work in HR? Should I go for my Masters? Do you recommend the CHRP exam? Thanks :)
Do you any have job interview tips?
