First the questions:
Question 1: I was wondering if you could do a blog about graduation gifts. I have multiple friends graduating law school and graduate school but am not sure what to get them. I'd like the gifts to be personable but also classy (classy on a budget though). As a graduate student myself, my funds are limited. Gifts ranging from $50 to $150 would be great. Thanks a lot.
Question 2: I have a few friends' bdays coming up and I want to get something really nice. I'm looking to spend around $75. The girls are fab and have a lot of fab items like yourself. Do you have any gift ideas for fab girls?
Even though the gifts are for different occasions, I've picked out gifts that I think would work for any occasion. Also, as you will see a lot of my picks are from Etsy. I really like shopping Etsy for gifts as they are truly unique items that your friends probably have never seen before and the fact that they are handmade make it a really nice gift!
I always love giving and getting jewelry and you can really find pieces to fit all your friend's personalities. I recently purchased a few of these Modern Friendship bracelets from etsy seller Ayofemi Jewelry and at $14 each you can buy one or a few to give to your friends and keep one for yourself! They are so cute and really well made.
As a girly girl, I love everything that's ruffles and bows and I fell for this necklace but I also think it's modern and simple enough for the lesser girly girls that you may know. I can see almost all my friends wearing this necklace!
I like that this one zips up on the side of the laptop so that you don't have to worry about accidentally scratching the top of your laptop with the zipper.

etsy seller Jiu Jiu, padded laptop sleeve - $23.99
She's even got Nook/Kindle covers! A perfect gift for your friend if she has an e-reader.
Every girl needs a nice set of brushes and I love this 6 brush roll set. It's the essentials that everyone needs and the matching brush roll is pretty darn cute!
This set of pinks would be perfect for a girl who doesn't like to go crazy with her nail colors.
But this set would be great for someone who loves to try out new colors! I love the varying shades they give you in this set.
There are more and more people these days with dSLR's, why not give a budding photographer friend a pretty strap to replace the standard ones that come with the camera. It's a pretty way to personalize her camera!

etsy seller VMJESS, Camera Strap - $25.00
These prints come unframed so make sure to go to get a nice frame before giving it to your friend. That way it'll be ready to go and all she'll have to do it put it up!
I chose things at a lower price point so that you could mix and match and give your friends a few gifts within your budget. I think in the end it's not about how much you spent but that you gave thought into the gift and made sure it fit into your friend's personality. Even if you don't end up giving any of these as gifts, I hope it was a starting point to help give you some ideas!

You always have the most creative ideas! Those are so cute and can be used for any occasion. The price points are perfect too. The cute bracelets are my favorite!

I love the friendship bracelets! I plan on ordering some soon! Could you find anything similar to your Tiffany's inital pendant? I'd love an initial necklace (my first name begins with a T, too!) but Tiffany's is a little pricey for me right now.
ReplyDeleteOoh! I love the friendship bracelets and the DSLR camera strap! Great picks that are budget conscious Tiff! Love it!
