Lookbook: Juicy Couture

I completely admit to being crazy about Juicy Couture when they first came out with those oh so comfy tracksuits.  I had a ton of the velour and terry suits in all different colors and complete with silly phrases on the backs.  I can proudly say though, that I never wore them to the airport or the grocery store! 🙂  Anyway, I lost interest in Juicy after awhile, I mean, one can only take enough pink velour and “I AM A JUICY GIRL” written all over right?  It just became so not my style.  But recently I started seeing some cute stuff and when I looked at the label, was shocked that it said Juicy Couture on it.  I was putting an order in at Saks and stumbled upon this cute sweater and decided to venture back into the Juicy Couture world.

What I’m Wearing:

Jacket: Juicy Couture
Tank: C&C California
Jeans: Rag & Bone
Shoes: Jimmy Choo
Necklace: J. Crew

I love the sweater, the quality is fantastic and so is the fit. I wasn’t expecting the shoulder pads, it didn’t look like it had it in the pictures, but when I put it on, I liked the unexpected sharpness of the shoulders.
My husband was joking with me that my readers are wondering why I’m posting fall lookbooks when it is summer.  Unfortunately for us, THIS is what I’m wearing for the summer!!  It’s so dang cold here it’s not even funny.  I mean, Seattle is known for rain and gray skies but it usually does not last until June/July.  It’s really getting annoying.  I’m glad that I’ll be in Mexico soon to enjoy some sun!

This necklace, I die.  It’s so pretty.  It’s definitely not an every day kind of necklace but it’s just the right touch when needed.

Love the necklace! J. Crew has such amazing pieces of jewelry sometimes. I have several Juicy Couture pieces and I'm always surprised by how nice the quality is. They've come a long way from the tracksuits!

That jacket/sweater is adorable. I haven't purchased a Juicy Couture piece in ages… maybe it's time to give them a second look. The necklace is amazing. I may have to hunt fot that one on ebay!

JC lately has been putting out more sophisticated offerings it seems! That cardigan looks fabulous on you, especially with that necklace. Ugh I'm totally with you on the weather, we've been having a rough time of it as well up in Vancouver.

Love the pleated details on the shoulders and the way it frames your body! I live in the Bay Area so I am also challenged by the cool weather all year round… A structured third piece is a great solution!

That necklace IS TDF! Love it! Also love the Juicy cardi. I do find that their regular clothes are quite cute and definitely more tasteful than their leisure-wear tees and tracksuits/

I know what you mean about the weather. I think El Nino has affected us all with strange weather. So Cal has had 7 months of abnormal low temps and our trip this weekend was much colder than I expected. Even now – it's still overcast and gloomy/.

Oh Style-ish, say it isn't so! You used to wear the velour tracksuits?? I don't think I can ever look at your blog in the same way again 😀 I really liked them but in England, they quickly became wardrobe staples for football WAGs and therefore associated with long blonde extensions and long manicured nails! But like you, I've noticed recently that they have some fab items and even some incredible bags!
Another fabulous look; love the cardigan and hope you get better weather soon!
