All About Brows!

First, the winner of the Alainn Bella Giveaway is Pamplemousse1983!  Congrats!  Please email me with your mailing address.

I’m one of those people that are obsessed with brows.  I always notice people with nice brows and I’ve been known to go up to women and ask where they get their brows done at. I really think brows make the hugest difference and if done right they totally open the eyes up more and you just look more put together.  The same goes for the other way around and bad brow shapes can ruin everything!  For me, I go in between stages of getting them professionally done or thinking that I can just do them myself but in the end, a little professional help is always needed.  I recently had them done so they are a nice shape now but that doesn’t mean that I don’t need brow products.  I have tried so many eyebrow pencils, powders, gels trying to find the perfect product.

I also know I’m not the only one that’s concerned about brows as I get lots of questions about my brow maintenance, so when Anastasia, the well known eyebrow cosmetics company, reached out to me and offered to send me a few products to try out.  I was excited and glad that I might have some new products to recommend.  They asked me to pick out a few products from their website that I was interested in, so I picked out a brow powder and a pencil just to test out the different textures.  When the package arrived I about died from the amount of goodies they sent me.  An eyebrow/cosmetics junkie’s dream!!  (thank you Tiffany from Anastasia!  You are the best!)

The Kit for Perfect Brows and Eyes

Brow Duality
(oops! I left it out on accident)

Everything you could ever want in one handy little case!  Tweezers, stencils, brow powder, brush, even highlighter and mascara!

I’ve been using this kit these past few days and I LOVE it.

These eyeshadow palettes aren’t just eyeshadows, they are also like skincare!  They help the eye area appear firmer, smoother, lighter and less puffy!  I haven’t put it to the test yet but definitely will be doing so soon.  If it does what it claims, I’m super impressed!  I only knew Anastasia as an eyebrow company so was pleased to try their color range.  I’m loving the blush quad.  Great size to keep in my purse and the pinks are just right for my skintone.

I didn’t take another picture of the Brow Wiz but I’m really liking this pencil as most pencils that I’ve used can go on real heavy and I can end up with super dark brows.  This pencil is thin and gives better control over how dark you want your brows to go.

I would like to note that Anastasia sent me these products for free but did not require a post in return.  I was really impressed by these products and wanted to share!  Please see my disclosure about gifts from companies.

And to prove to you how well they work, here is my no brows to brows look!  Using the Beauty Express Kit as shown above but I didn’t use a stencil since my brows are already shaped.

I've heard her products are amazing, your eyebrows look awesome! I'm going through the absolute horibble process of growing mine out so I can get them reshaped and a little thicker but I may have to try and order her brow powder etc for now!

I love the line of Anastasia products. I am fairly lucky that I don't have to have too much done to my brows, but I agree – professional is the way to go, and then you can do some maintenance yourself. This line of products makes it really easy (and I probably shouldn't say this – but sometimes you can find it discounted at TJ Maxx!). The one thing we don't have in Ohio is a professional Anastasia studio – I'd love to actually get my brows done by the staff/

The purple case is beautiful! I do think brows are important, I had them done a couple of months ago and it really changed the way I look, your tutorial is cute 😉

Beautifully Invisible – does Ohio have a Nordstrom? They usually have an Anastasia counter that does brows right there in the store!

I used to see the most amazing "brow-guru" at Gene Juarez, but since moving to Phoenix (sadly, I couldn't take her with me!) I was at a loss of what to do with my eyebrows. I turned to Anastasia and visited the counter at Nordstrom for some professional help! The brow technician was very helpful and knowledgeable. I love the products as well and am excited to see the color palettes!

I was so excited to see your post and am glad you love the products too 🙂

I thought they're drugstore products? Never knew they had such a nice packaging… guess it's only over the counter kind of stuff. Looks like you already got nice eyebrows to start off already! lol.

Seen these at Sephora, but never bought. I have very light brows so I need some good product to draw them (not a pen though). Your brows are fine to begin with, by the way. Such pretty girl.

I'm an eyebrow freak too and I was lucky enough that over 10 years ago I had them electrolysised to perfection and haven't had to touch them ever since!! One less thing to worry about 🙂

Tiffany – we do have a Nordstrom, but unfortunately, it doesn't have an Anastasia counter. One of the few without, I am afraid 🙁
