Lookbook: Knee High

**Have you entered my $75 Apothica giveaway yet?
You know you want free makeup! Enter here!**

Still back logged on lookbooks so I wouldn’t even dare to have bare knees in the weather we’ve been having lately!  Back in the fall though it was the perfect time to break out the knee highs!  Which these really are knee highs but since I have such shorty legs, I just pulled them up to become thigh highs 🙂  Oh the perks of having short legs.  There’s not many, I’ll tell you that.

What I’m Wearing:
Cardigan: Juicy Couture
Dress: gift from Threadsence*
Socks: J Crew
Shoes: Miu Miu
Necklaces: J Crew
Belt: J Crew

For my hair, I just twisted my bangs back and then pulled back with a bobby pin.  The nails I layered Sally Hansen Brisk Blue with China Glaze Neon Blue Sparrow on top.  Sorry I don’t have better pictures but you can kinda see it on my blogher/intel post (btw, have you entered for the $250 Best Buy giveway yet?)  And I put on a little nail sticker just for fun!

Shop the Lookbook

Threadsence has been so kind outfitting me for so many of my lookbooks and I absolutely adore this cutie dress they sent me!  Go check out their store for more fab stuff and I love that you can’t find it anywhere else!

I have so many long black cardigans.  The one I’m wearing is just a regular one but has cute gold buttons, I do love that about Juicy Couture, they always have fun details.  This sequin one though is so pretty!  I want!

I also like the subtle stripes of this cardi and am in love with this one with the bows on it!  You have to check out the back, so cute! (and if you buy from Saks, click on over from ebates to get 2.5% cashback)

Or if you are a shorty like me, go get some black knee socks and pull them up!
Although, I am loving these ruffle over the knee socks ($4.99!) or these cute crochet ones.  2.5% cashback from ebates if you shop at Urban Outfitters too!

Nine West Hereiam Platform Pump on sale for $69.99 – and get 3.5% cashback!
These very tall Jessica Simpson pumps are a good option or these are fab and on sale for $50! (and get 5% cashback.)

Blue nail polish certainly is a bit getting used to but is fun to mix things up!  The layering turned out nicely since the Sally Hansen one can be a bit too turquoise so the China Glaze helped make it into more of a true blue.

    Loving this look on you!
And actually I adore the look of knee high socks.
Maybe if you put a pair of different colored tights underneath it would be ok now too?

I love the bling on your finger and your nail color – I really need to get on the nailpolish wagon.

I saw that Juicy is having an additional percentage off sale (25%?), so if you are looking to get a spare of that beautiful cardi you should definitely check it out.

Love it, and YES! Love knee-highs, always, and just grabbed these stripey-without-looking-too-twee Falke knee highs from Figleaves:

(although I should add that the Falke ones are more like thigh-highs, and will probably be crotch-highs on me and my short legs, of course, hmph.)

Yay for thigh-highs! As a fellow shortie I know just what you mean about stocking lengths – most of mine are thigh-high too! You look very cute here, which is awesome b/c sometimes thigh-high socks can be a bit racy.

Great look – I thought those were thigh-high boots at first and couldn't believe it, because that isn't something I'd expect to see you in!

I am in dire need of a long black cardigan I could wear with a dress, so I will be checking out that Juicy Couture cardigan. Too cute!
