No Christmas lookbook but we took these pictures back in October and the weather is behaving exactly the same right now so thought it was a fitting outfit to post now! We usually take around 15-20 shots and then I edit them down to 3-5 for the blog but that day, the rain killed that plan and we shot 3 and then ran! I'm pretty tolerant of the rain but don't like it much when it ruins my lookbook plans. I wanted to wear a skirt but I didn't really want my legs to freeze so I pulled out my maxi dress that I usually wear in the summer and just layered over it. Oh and the title of the post? Hubs said that this was my "witchy" outfit. What? Only witches can wear long black skirts? Silly! ;)
Rings: Kenneth Jay Lane and Target
Nail Polish: OPI Lincoln Park After Dark and China Glaze Medallion

If you don't want the full on dress you could always get a maxi skirt like this. Or you could do this convertible maxi dress/skirt from Target!
This little ruffle blouse is really cute and would work just the same. I also really like this pleated blouse. Really similiar to my blouse!
You can't tell but my cardigan has thin stripes on it. I love stripe cardigans, big stripes, little stripes, I have the whole range in my closet! This one looks so cozy (and on sale)! And this cardigan with the pockets is fun!
Mine are similar to these but not over the knee.
Glamour Gals Earrings
These are so light, you don't even feel them on! I usually don't wear dangle earrings because I hate that they weigh my ears down but not these ones! Marika ships for free worldwide so make sure to check out her shop, she has so much cute stuff!
OPI Lincoln Park After Dark
China Glaze Medallion
The gold glitter + the dark colored base was just what I needed on the rainy day. That gold one is one of my favorite glitter polishes!

Haha, I don't mind the rain, but it is never fun to get caught in it.
ReplyDeleteThat ornament is perfect for you Tiffany, and it will look great for years to come.

ReplyDeleteLove the nails- I'm a huge fan of dark polish, but was growing a little tired of it myself, so it's been fun adding a little sparkle! XO

I love the loose, low bun and the earrings! Very classy. :)
ReplyDeleteOh I am on the glitter nail trend and I love this black option. Doesn't make it to black. I have to go in this week and I will definitely be trying this out.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
Happy Holidays sweets.
Happy Holidays Tiffany!
ReplyDeleteYou certainly don't look witchy! You look gorgeous! It amazes me how you can take two flowy pieces, the skirt and the blousy top, and still look so fantastic!
ReplyDeleteLove the outfit and that ornament is so cute!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you're getting wear out of the earrings!! Love your blouse, so my style!

That ornament is perfectly suited to you! Very adorable.
ReplyDeleteI love that ornament! Your photos are such great quality- what kind of camera do you use? I am about to order my new one and just was curious since you are a wedding photog :)
ReplyDeleteReally Petite - I use a Canon 5D Mark II or a Canon 40D. I love the 5dMII but if you are new to the dslr I wouldn't recommend it (and it's really pricey). The 40D is what I started on and at the time it was a step above the Canon Rebels. (There's a newer version out now the 50D or the 60D) If I were to buy a "starter" camera now, I'd buy the Canon 7d. It's not as good as the 5dMII but it's still great and has video.
ReplyDeleteWhat I'd really tell you though is to invest in a nice lens. Camera bodies (especially in the "starter" range - like Canon Rebels) don't make that much of a difference.

Love the lippy and the polish! That's so funny how guys often think specific items are such a "character". Love that new ornament! Happy Holidays Tiffany!

ReplyDeleteHope you guys had a good Christmas! :) Hope to see you soon! :)
@Tiffany Thanks for correcting me! I never realized I was saying (typing) it wrong. My bf Minh always says, "hey, let's go to Pike's" so it's been impounded in my mind! Gosh, he fails. lol jk
ReplyDeleteHappy holidays!
