Lookbook: Polka Dot Dot Dot

It’s been awhile since I’ve put on a skirt.  Now that I work from home, I still like to get dressed up but I just wear whatever the heck that I want and while I used to wear skirts all the time to the office, sitting at home in a skirt just seems, I don’t know, a bit odd.  I think it’s also because since I don’t work in a normal corporate setting, I don’t have to sit in front of the computer all day long (where sitting in tights is not too bad) instead, I’m in and out and running around all day long and doing it in tights in this freezing weather just isn’t ideal.  However, I do adore these polka dot tights and haven’t worn them yet this season so brought them out to play!

What I’m Wearing
Cardigan: Eryn Brinie
Top: J Crew
Skirt: Eryn Brinie
Tights: Nordstrom
Shoes: Prada
Bangle: gift from my mom

Straight hair for today!  Are you surprised?  It is a rare day when I don’t curl it.  BTW, thanks for the awesome feedback about my curling with a flat iron tutorial.  I’m so glad that quite a few of you were able to try it out and find it to be quite easy!  Check out the adorable @StephBartolome version!  Adore it with the poof!

Roxy Night Out Sweater
When I was in NYC I stopped by the Eryn Brinie store and bought practically everything there.  I love that label and everything fits me perfectly.  Unfortanately the cardigan that I bought is sold out, I love the little puff sleeves.  This Open Back Cardigan looks great and even this chunky cardigan would look cute with this outfit.

J.Crew Factory Palmera ruffle cami
Or this one is super similar for $39.50.  I like the the print version too.

Rag & Bone Ledbury Wrap Skirt
You probably know that Rag & Bone is my favorite brand.  I want this skirt!  It’s 60% off and use your ebates to get 2.5% cashback at Saks!

This bow skirt is pretty cute too. Or this pleated bow skirt for $19.99! (And get 2% Cashback from ebates)

And how cute are these floral dot tights?  Oh and Spanx has dot tights too!

Prada Womens Shoes

I talked about my shoes in my “rarely worn shoes” vlog and this is proof that I actually took them out this season to wear them!  I’m also in love with these new season Prada pumps, I think I need them!  And these cutie bow pumps too!

Oh and for those of you that have been looking for my Prada pumps from this post and this lookbook, I finally found them online!  You can get them here and they have them in gray too!

P.S.  The ebates giveaway winners have been selected and contacted by email.  Congrats to Martha and Maria!  Thanks to everyone who entered, I’ll be having another giveaway soon!

That is seriously the best outfit combination!
I adore the skirt and the cardigan in itself, but the shirt and the shoes makes it just corporate chic! (even if it is for home it is fabulous)

Cute look, I especially love your tights! I had a similar pair and am so bummed that I ripped them, I might have to replace them with the one's you listed.

Those tights are pretty adorable. I wear far less skirts and dresses in the winter as well. I need to move to a war weather climate, if nothing else then the wardrobe versatility! XO

The combination of navy and gray is so sophisticated here. And your tights are so fun — I had a similar pair, and accidentally snagged them. I've been having a hard time finding replacements.

I try to dress cute when I work from home, but sometimes just putting on a bra is a success. If I have a specific task that I have to do, then I dress for that task. As a result I've lately only been dressing to workout while I'm at home studying. If, however, I'm leaving the house, I've gotten really creative since I know that I don't often have a chance to leave the house.

I do agree that it feels odd to wear a skirt around the house. Nonetheless, those tights are super cute. I found a pair just like them from Target and love them too.

That skirt is fabulous Tiffany! And it's so awesome you get to work from home, but still dress up. 🙂 And yes, your curling with a flat iron tutorial was amazing as well. I haven't curled my hair for so long. Maybe this week!! hee hee.

Hope you are well my dear. 🙂 Kisses.

I don't know if it's the cut of the skirt or what, but this outfit really flatters you! I have a gray pair of polka dot tights and I think they are much more exciting than plain black tights, so I try to work them in as much as I can.

@Nicole Lisa Thank you! I do try to keep my outfits still "work appropriate" even though I don't have to actually go in to an office. It helps keep me in "work mode" 🙂

@shendovestylethe ones I got are from Nordstrom and they have them for a pretty good price too. I usually get a bunch because I rip my tights so easily.

@Brittany – Try It On MeI wouldn't mind moving to a warmer climate as well! But I can't complain too much I think there are places far colder than where I live 🙂

@JamieIt's so annoying how tights get runs and snags so easily right? Try Nordstrom if you want a pair like mine. They are just the Nordstrom brand and not too pricey.

@A-Cto tell you the truth I get like that some days too. Too much effort to even put on makeup! But it does help put me in the right mood to work and get things done when I'm dressed properly.
