My January so far has been fabulous! How about you? As promised, another week in iPhone pics! We may own several fancy dSLR cameras and thousands of $$ worth of lenses but I take way more pictures with my iPhone. It's just so handy and if you take the time to set up and compose your shot, it can come out pretty nice too. Not all of them will turn out great but the same goes for dSLR's. Fancy cameras does not equal automatic nice pictures. Remember, "the best camera is the one that's with you" no matter how big it is or how much it cost. Anyway! Onto my iPhone highlights of the past week!
All photos were taken by me and edited using the Cross Process app (except for #9 was not edited) and collage was created in Photoshop.

Gorgeous pictures, iPhone picture quality can't compare with DSLR but I think these are really great and really capture the brilliance of everyday life. Congrats on the Chanel WOC - it's SO PRETTY!
ReplyDeletelove your week in iphone pictures!!! ahhh love your new fuschia woc.. so beautiful *sigh* i've been chanel deprived.. can't wait for all the spring/summer chanel stuff to come out!!

I love #1, #4, and #10! I can't believe you cooked that...it looks delicious.
ReplyDeleteIs that a new hot pink WOC? The WOC is so amazingly versatile...I'm sure this will be a nice addition to your other crossbody for dog walking.

Ah! This post makes me want an iphone even MORE. Also, love #3. ;)
ReplyDelete@Elle
ReplyDeleteOh no, definitely not comparing quality, I use my DSLR when I want great pictures that are suitable for framing but like you said, the iPhone is great for remembering snippets of everyday life!
@lisa I know, the color is beautiful right? I walked into the Chanel boutique and just gravitated towards the color. I can't wait either!
ReplyDelete@PetiteAsianGirl
ReplyDeleteYes, it's a new color! I do love the WOC and it's a classic bag that actually did not get affected by the latest price increase! (although the price is still ridiculous, my husband almost passed out when he saw the price tag - LOL!)
@Twenty.Something thank you! Delicious is a good word for the Chanel. hehehe! :)
ReplyDelete@Lys Yes, it's my favorite photo app for the iPhone!
ReplyDelete@aftertherace The iPhone 4 is a must have! Not for the camera but for the phone itself, I love it! And Macho says thank you! :)
ReplyDeleteLove the WOC. The pink is just tooo hot and yummy!!!
ReplyDeleteI am weak to the effects of sparkly jewelry as well. And that clam chowder looks amazing.
ReplyDeleteHahaha...I was thinking 'how did she get that shot??" when I saw number 9, and then I saw your caption. :)
ReplyDeleteLove the pink bag as everyone else has mentioned!!
When I saw your cute hello kitty holder, it made me wished that I had a desk job and not a healthcare hospital job :) We love making Japanese Curry in our house too and looooove this brand. http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_i_1_14?url=search-alias%3Dgrocery&field-keywords=kokumaro+curry&x=0&y=0&sprefix=kokumaro+curry
ReplyDeleteI adore your Chanel. I'm acutally saving up for one :) & I cannot wait. How much are for one, in the states? Just wondering cause I live in Canada and maybe there is a difference in price. (If you don't mind me asking). Thank you! Btw, I'm so tempted to purchase an Iphone. Hehe.
ReplyDeleteI am a huge fan of your blog!...and that last photo of the curry made my stomach rumble! Your curry looks delicious! I'm inspired to make my own! =)
ReplyDeleteIF by any chance and luck you have a moment (as I'm sure many have asked you to do), please check me out! http://adoretoadorn.blogspot.com
I can't wait to hit up Madewell when I go to Seattle! And we have the same Rebecca Minkoff MAB Mini! :)
ReplyDeleteyou're right, a little chanel never hurt anyone!
ReplyDeleteTiffany! You know you have to tell me which Chinese restaurant #8 is!
ReplyDeleteDo you like dim sum? (sorry if you've talked about these already in past posts)
These have been my favorites that I've found thus far.
Noble Court - Bellevue (thumbs up!)
Top Gun - Factoria (thumbs up!)
King Chinese Restaurant - Bellevue (thumbs up!)
I used to live on that side of town when I first moved to WA so we just followed the crowds lol on a Sunday. It seems to work well!
There's a new Chinese grocery store near Top Gun called Jing Jing or JingJing. I just love new clean Asian grocery stores haha
But..Seafood City in SC = total fail in my opinion.
#1 and #3 are adorable! ... Gotta love Chanel, and girly in me still loves Kitty so much! ... Btw there's a little mention of you on my post today, hope you can check it :)

ReplyDelete@Nancy Good job saving up! It's totally worth it :) I don't mind you asking at all, it's definitely good to know how much things cost here in case you can get a better deal! It was $1575.
ReplyDelete@Nancy Yes it was delicous! You should make it, it's so good to have curry on a cold gray day. It's like comfort food to me! Thanks for introducing me to your blog, will definitely check it out!

@faye lu review aww thanks! You're right, I should find a lipstick and a nail polish to match!
ReplyDelete@Meisha.Style thanks and you're welcome!
ReplyDelete@Taryn I usually make it with chicken and potatoes, onions, carrots and celery. so yummers! I wish I could do a quick tutorial for you but I just play around with Photoshop and figure things out on the fly so I'm afraid I'd give some weirdo instructions that nobody would understand but me! But I'll look for some good tutorials and post them!
ReplyDeleteawesome idea! i want to start doing this on my blog too.
ReplyDeleteit's so much easier to shoot with the iphone than the dslr. i use to carry my camera w me all the time but it made my bag so heavy and it hurted my shoulder!
i love the chanel bag. nice choice in color. :)
I want that Chanel bag. End. of. story.
ReplyDelete@Youa You should! I would love to see your pics! I was the same with my dslr, it would kill me lugging it around so I just leave it at home most days now!
ReplyDelete@Rin :) I felt the same way that is why I couldn't leave the Chanel boutique without it!

Hi Tiffany.
ReplyDeleteI need help lol! I'm thinking of either getting a Chanel Classic Flap bag (medium), or a WOC. If you could choose, which one would you get, and why? Well that's if you haven't purchased as WOC :).
The Classic is such a big price difference, and I don't really want to spend that MUCH on a bag, but it's such a beauty, that I'm thinking of doing it, haha! :(
oops, I meant in a jumbo size, not medium. :)
ReplyDeletewhat's your take in the sizes, and which one would you prefer for the Classic Flap Bag.
Thank you!
Love your photos! so u got 2 doggies? This is a cute one too. ANd i love that Hello Kitty brush holder!!:D I was a big Hello Kitty fan as a kid, hahaha.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend ahead!
Cinz
http://cinzee.wordpress.com
@Fashion Frenzi will try to do one soon!
ReplyDelete@Crystal ooooh, I would totally get the Flap!! I'm like so excited for you! I love the WOC but if you are choosing between the two definitely get the flap. And I do adore the jumbo size, that's the one that I was eyeing. I know it's huge but I love that it's huge :)
ReplyDelete@ReallyPetite I love the baby pink Chanel bags. Have you checked ebay? I think they have some on there!
ReplyDelete@cinzee yup 2 doggies! I guess I never have both of them together in one post! I know, I was such a huge fan of Hello Kitty when I was little and my love for it never went away!
ReplyDelete@Tiffany - I am Style-ish
ReplyDelete(this is femalethreat) I bought the courtney multicolore clutch!
About the comments thing. One of my inet friends uses this type of blog and she had the same problem. I guess she changed some options and now there's this "Name" and "URL" field which made it so much easier for me to leave her comments.
@Tiffany - I am Style-ish
ReplyDeletethanks!
@Richelle
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!! I LOVE that clutch.
Thanks for letting me know, it might be because I have a weirdo template so it won't let me change the comment settings but I'll see what I can figure out.
Love the effects on the photos, you should try the camera plus app, it can take multiple shots, and its much faster than the camera on the iphone. Plus it has some cool editing features. =)
