I very rarely wear a lot of logo-ed type stuff and I actually look more at the style/design than any logos so if I love the style of something but it has logos on it, unless it detracts from it, I have no problem at all with the logos. There is a line of being “tacky” with logos or just wearing something because you like the design. Anyway, moving on…I was given this scarf as a gift from a friend (thank you! I love it!) and I wanted to wear it and really, I just loved the color scheme of the dark gray and red. It’s such a pretty pairing.
What I’m Wearing
Blazer: Bird by Juicy Couture
Blouse: J Crew
Jeans: Madewell
Booties: Prada
Bag: Chanel (vintage)
I’m wearing a silk J Crew blouse underneath the scarf that you can’t really see but I love it a lot. The silly thing was that I cooked breakfast in it the other day and I got a big spot of oil on it. WAH! I was so sad. I haven’t had much luck with silk + stains, I really hope the dry cleaners can get it out.
Everyone needs a white blazer, they are so versatile! I also really like this tuxedo blazer. A little bit different but how pretty is this lace jacket?
I love to wear silk blouses under my blazers especially for work. Tucked into black pants it’s always an easy go-to outfit. This navy one would be great too or this one is perfect and it looks a lot more expensive than the price!
I just ordered more of these legging jeans and these. I wear mine so often that I needed to get extras in case something happened to them! Both are on sale and free shipping! (Use code: WEEKEND) and make sure to use ebates before you put in your order. It’s not a huge amount (1%) but it’s still something!
You know I love my booties, not only are they totally cute and go with everything, they are really comfy too! I used to not be a bootie kind of girl but I’ve discovered that the lower ankle booties work better on my shorty legs (they don’t cut my legs off like the true ankle booties). You could also go for a classic black pair like these Pour La Victoire bootie. Or these DVF lace up booties are SO cute. (and 50% off!)
I love to add a bit of color with scarves and you can’t go wrong with the classic Alexander McQueen skull scarf. This rose print scarf from Madewell is also really pretty. I can go either way with scarves, expensive or cheap I don’t care as long as I like the pattern. This pink scarf is really cute and only $9.99!

I always say if u have it then u should flaunt it! Love your look, love the way you put this outfit together and thanks for sharing a little luxury with me today!
You look really cute! You always put on the cutest and most put together outfits! 😀
I agree with you about the logo part being tacky, as long as you like the design and not just wanna pile logos on, it's perfectly fine!!! And the way you did it really works!
i love the way you're pairing the scarf with the white blazer! i have a number of scarves but never know how to wear them for the warmer months. this is great! and those prada booties are to-die-for!
You look great! Whoever said pairing logos is tacky has an eye problem… it's tacky if it's head-to-toe logos but what you're wearing is just perfect. Love it Tiffany!
People are crazy! That scarf is so beautiful and the logo is just part of the design. One of the first things we did in Art class was paint patterns. The LV pattern would have been a good one to work on in class. Patterns have such a beautiful visual effect.
love your scarf.. it's such a gorgeous pop of color on your white blazer.. and HELLO vintage chanel.. and seriously.. everytime you wear those prada booties.. i die just a little bit inside..
Tacky? not at all! This outfit looks amazing, I think there's a huge difference in wearing logos in a tacky way, but how can you look tacky when you're looking this chic! LV and Chanel are a lovely combination! … hope cleaners can take that spot out!
I think you look adorable but perhaps you mean "I couldn't care less" since "I could care less" does indicate that there is indeed a degree of "care". Is there anything worse than a cliche gone wrong? 😉
Such a cute outfit! and yes I lovvvvvvvve those shoes. I am constantly looking for similar ones ever since I first saw them. I agree with you about logos – of course it is silly to wear them just to "advertise" that you own a designer piece, but in moderation and because the graphic quality of it is nice and you LIKE it, is a different story. I love the Tory burch logo and so I really love a lot of her pieces with the logo. I have an lv monogram bag that I like too, i dont care! 🙂
@kileen I am the same, I have a lot of bright scarves that I love to incorporate into outfits but sometimes it's hard thinking of new ways to wear them. I always love it when you wear your scarves in your outfits!
@lisa I felt the same way when I saw your new Chanel bag! If only we could just clone the items we'd own, I'd clone the booties for you if you'd clone your bag for me. LOL!
@Charlie, Feminine Bravery I've been wearing such dark colors that I've finally broke out of it and trying to wear brighter colors even if the weather isn't going to cooperate! 🙂
@kpowe I'm glad I ignored them too! haha! Really I don't care too much what they say, I just think it's funny that somebody has to point it out every time I show a logo on the blog!
You look great! To remove oil stains you can use hot water and Dawn dishsoap but since the blouse is made of silk you need to be very careful. You can also try to apply cornstarch to the oil stains on the silk (leave for 15-20 mins) and brush off. The cornstarch will absorb the oil as it sits on the stain.
To be quite honest, when you mentioned logos and I saw your outfit, it wasn't what I thought you were talking about. I think you look GREAT! I agree though too "I could care less." That's how it should always be! Cute outfit!
You look adorable! I love scarves, and your logos are very subtle. It's not as though you're wearing a Gucci tracksuit LOL- remember when those were popular among the Hollywood/music set?! The J.Crew blouse looks gorgeous, and I've been on the hunt for the perfect tie-neck blouse.
I absolutely love this outfit. I agree with you- the style and fit is more important than the logo, but if it has a logo then so be it! I like the red color, it's nice for spring which is right around the corner! xoxo Hilary
I adore red and grey together too! Such a stunning combo. I say if you love what you're wearing, who cares what others think? If I could, I'd be covered in head to toe Chanel! No really, I would =)
Beautiful scarf! And I'm a huge fan of side braids. 🙂

Take me a few seconds to locate the mentioned "logo" items. You are carrying a classic black Chanel and nothing tacky about classic.
Tiffany! Does the flower motif on the LV scarf "glow" in the dark?
Tacky when someone is plastering everything with logo from head to toe. Your outfit is simple as it is modern. I wore my Pucci, Hermes scarf with Chanel all the time.

Correct the above post.
Your outfit is CHIC as it is modern. Love your side braid.
I think this is one of my favorite looks from you! Totally on the same page as you regarding the logo thing. Sometimes you can't avoid it but as long as you're buying it for yourself and not for the logo! I LOVE that scarf! If I walked by it in a store, I probably wouldn't look twice, but you really did it justice! It looks so good with your vintage Chanel bag too! Your clothes provide a really good basis for your amazing accessories without being too plain (the white blazer is lovely). I adore!
@cynthia thanks Cynthia! I always try to dress for myself and my own tastes so it doesn't bug me too bad when people comment on my stuff but the logo thing was annoying me because it happens every time and I see it happen to other bloggers too.
@Gina I love the side braid too but it only works on my hair when my hair wants it too. On some days I try to do it and I just can't get it right but some days it just works!
@Anonymous I'm glad you couldn't pick up on the logos right away, that's what I thought about the scarf when I first saw it, I hardly noticed the logos at all!
No the flower doesn't glow but that would be awesome if it did!!
I've always loved Pucci scarves, I need to get one… and oooh Hermes. that's next on my list too! 🙂
@Jackie Thanks Jackie! I wanted the scarf to be the focus of the outfit so I think the white blazer helped it do that!

Great style – and if something beautiful has a logo on it, so be it! I can see that when others wear logos just to wear a logo it can be too much, but who can go wrong with a classic LV or CC logo? BTW – I loved your shoe closet video!
I bought this gorgeous coral silk shirt this weekend, I KNOW I'm going to ruin it (totally accident prone here!) So, I need to wear it to something special since I'm 100% it will be my only chance to wear it clean! 🙂
Your Prada booties are seriously the cutest pair I've ever seen. ^_^
And totally unrelated, have you been to O'Asian for dim sum (Downtown Seattle)? I've been here once and totally forgot about how awesome the food was! Not only was the dim sum delicious the atmosphere was really nice too!
With all the money that you spend on yourself, why not whiten your teeth? They have a weird gray tint. Noticed your teeth more since you started doing the videos. Girl, Crest white strips are only about $30-50/box. I know you can afford that!
@House of Hemingway funny thing is I never spill or get stains on anything EXCEPT for when I wear silk! It's so irritating! Good luck on not getting your shirt stained 🙂 It sounds cute!
@Anonymous oh man, I have so many issues with my teeth you don't even know. Not all of us can be perfect you know? 🙂 I've done professional teeth whitening that didn't help much (but spent $$$ on it) and made my teeth extra sensitive. I've used whitening toothpastes, etc… I've avoided the whitestrips because of teeth sensitivity (the professional whitening really made them so sensitive!) I've been looking into other options but I recently gave in and I did just buy whitestrips last week and my husband has told me that my teeth are noticeably whiter. So hopefully you will see a difference in future lookbooks/videos. I hope so at least! If you have any better options, let me know, I'm all ears because I'd love to change it if I could!
i love the white blazer with the colorful LV scarf, it really makes the scarf pop. my heart skipped a beat when i saw your prada booties. they are a little piece of heaven on earth! xo
Thank you for all of the QA restaurant recommendations! I'll definitely report back to you once I visit them one by one. ^^ I have tried El Diablo's Coffee & the neighboring cupcake shop in QA, but not any restaurants yet! I hear there's an amazing Pizza place there too. I must keep exploring!
We did look into The Bravern last year out of pure curiosity but we weren't ready to buy together at the time. I noticed they're leasing out units now in one of The Bravern Towers. It would be so amazing to live there especially for anyone who works right in Downtown Bellevue — it's so convenient!
Prices all over the city for condos and homes are really dropping on both sides of the lake. We've been keeping our eye on the market very closely lol. Minh's a bankruptcy attorney so he helps clients with short sales and foreclosures day after day and in doing so he gets a really good idea of what's going on with the housing market in Western Washington.
Minh works in downtown Seattle and that's why we moved from Bellevue to Seattle 10 months ago. ^_^ I wasn't seeing him enough during the week and I didn't like it! Moving to Seattle really cut down his commute time from a 45 minutes drive during rush hour across the bridge to a 5 minute walk home.
I love where we live (rent) now, but having 2 dogs (as you probably know) can be very hard in the city. Our building has a floor for doggies, but still it requires taking the pups in and out multiple times a day. We really "crave" a fenced in back yard more and more each day!
Have you been following The Bachelor? Chantal one of the final 3 is from Seattle! They visited Seattle on tonight's episode (Alki Beach and her home). : )
that scarf is gorgeous! and i'm jealous about your nordstrom rack juicy blazer find! i went in there the other day for the first time and couldnt find a single thing to purchase 🙁
Ah! You look incredibly chic and sweet Tiff! No way tacky! I just got back from HK and China and let me tell you about logo-mania! I think my head was spinning! You look utterly fab!
So cute, as always! 🙂 I love your nail polish organization video, btw. Great ideas!
Do me a favor, please? Please vote for for my sister and I on this link. Just push the "like" button on each of the photos. We are entered to win a contest. (We're the two girls with the sunglasses) THANKS!!
@DSK Steph I hear ya about the dogs because we'd love to give our dogs a yard to run around in but right now we love living downtown too much so they just get walks around the neighborhood but they love those just as much.
@Leena It is such a hit or miss at the Rack! I try not to go too often because most of the time I get disappointed but on the times that I actually do find something, it's like finding gold!

February 24, 2011 at 5:02 pm@DSK Steph I hear ya about the dogs because we'd love to give our dogs a yard to run around in but right now we love living downtown too much so they just get walks around the neighborhood but they love those just as much.
I've never seen the Bachelor! 🙂
