I had a post ready for today but thanks to Vivian I found out about the For Japan with Love project and this took precedence over any of the silly stuff I was going to post about. As a lot of you know my husband is Japanese and I've had a few of you so kindly ask about his family and I appreciate your thoughtfulness. My husband's family are all in the US so we are lucky that we don't have any immediate relatives over there to worry about in that capacity but that doesn't make us any less concerned for the people that have been affected by the disaster. Thank you again for those of you that were concerned, I truly appreciate it.

I donated to Shelterbox before I saw this post. I was watching BBC News and they mentioned something about Shelterboxes. I did the research thereafter and found the company really interesting. 91% of their funds go to the boxes themselves.

Thanks for the head's up on this charity. Will definitely be pushing people towards the For Japan w/ Love site as well as awareness of Shelterbox. Even beyond March 31st, they will continue to need aid and support, so it's good to know other charitable outlets who are helping with just the basic needs that have become so crucial during this terrible time.
