Lookbook: Back to Basics

I did not realize that I was wearing head to toe Vince until I sat down to write this lookbook.  While I think $5 tank tops from Forever 21 are totally acceptable, you also need to invest in a few basics that you know will last you a long time and Vince is my favorite brand for that.  I was going for a no frills look that day, as you can see a rare day with totally straight hair!  The vintage necklace is my newest find that added just the right touch to a very basic outfit.

What I’m Wearing
Sweater: Vince
Tank: Vince
Jeans: Vince
Boots: Roberto del Carlo
Necklace: Vintage
Bracelet: Vintage and J Crew (the two middle ones)
Rings: Jewelmint (the heart) and Good Charma

I also got this Vince striped sweater and I loooove it.  Perfect drapey-ness and so soft. Adore the look of the uneven hem sweater will have to go to Nordstrom and try it on to see how it looks on.

All my Vince jeans are all really soft and comfy. I often wear them on the plane, they are my comfiest jeans.  I’m loving the color of these jeans and these dark rinse jeans are great and on sale.

I contemplated getting these DVF boots before I got mine.  They are really cute!  Or I’m loving these flat over the knee boots (great price too!) or these wedge over the knee boots are fantastic. I love the color.

I love your straight hair. Although you don't like your short hair but it'll grow back in no time. This is such a cute and comfy outfit for the weekend. Thanks for sharing!

So chic! I agree with you, the basics are almost always something I spend more money on but they are so worth it because they'll last forever!
