Lookbook: a little bit of lace

The winners of the ebates giveaways are Alexandra who won the $100 Nordstrom giftcard and Shannon who won the $100 Sephora giftcard!  Winners have been contacted by email, thanks so much for everyone who entered!

The winner of My Favorite Things giveaway for the Rebecca Minkoff pouch and Marc Jacobs mirror is Nga!

Nga, I don’t have your contact info so please email me at tiffany {at} iamstyle-ish.com so I can send you your prize!

Thank you so so much for the hair advice and the support of my silly haircut woes.  I’m so relieved that so many of you can relate to what I felt.  I got some really great tips so if you are looking for tips on working with short hair, please check out the comments in my last post!  I have a whole lot of lookbooks with my long hair, so it might be a bit before you see my new short hair in a post.  The hairstyle I did here is what makes me miss my long hair, I certainly can not do that with my hair now!

Anyway, onto the outfit… I love this little lace skirt that Megan from Alainn Bella sent over and thought it was the perfect added “fluff” to the patterned tunic.

What I’m Wearing
Cardigan: J Crew
Skirt: gift from Alainn Bella
Tights: DKNY
Shoes: Miu Miu
Rings: Jewelmint (the heart ring) and Target

Eek!  My bangs are so long here, they definitely needed a trim.  But I like the rest of my hair!  All I did was curl my hair with a flat iron, teased the top of my hair, pinned it back and then put an elastic around the rest of my hair for a low ponytail.  Have you guys tried out Jewelmint yet?  It’s like a monthly subscription site but for jewelry!  Genius idea.  I have gotten a few pieces and the heart ring is one of my favorites, I wear it all the time!

Warehouse Poppy Print Blouse – Love the colors in this blouse.
I just added this floral tunic to my cart, it’s perfect for the spring!  I am addicted to buying blouses from ASOS.  They have the best patterns.  Loving this swallow print blouse too.

J.Crew Infinity cardigan
You gotta love J Crew cardigans.  They are so comfy and they last forever.  I have SO many in my closet, it’s craziness.  I’ll pull one out of my closet that I forgot that I had bought!  Love this one and its on sale for $19.99.  I have it in black and wear it all the time.  The striped one (also on sale!) is super cute too.

Make sure to check out Alainn Bella’s new spring arrivals, so much cute stuff!  And if you use the code “Style-ish” you will get 20% off your order!
Miu Miu black suede peep toe platform pumps

If you’re looking for something more affordable, here is a great basic black pump for under $100 or these suede ones are really cute too.

And I can't wait to see your "shorter" hair up close. I bet it is not as bad as you think.

I am in LOVE with JewelMint! 🙂 I'm so glad you like it, too! That ring is really cute. I just bought the Daphne Pendant and can't wait for it to come in the mail! They are really quick about shipping the items, so I'm sure it'll be here in a few days.

Also, your hair is totally cute! I really like it.

And I didn't get to thank you earlier, but I really appreciate your advice about photography. Thank you so much. You are such a sweetheart and I really appreciate your help. I love your blog, too! 🙂

@Manda I wish I could do a more detailed post but since I don't have long hair anymore I can't do it. But it's basically what I listed above… curl your hair, tease the top part of your hair, bobby pin the teased part and then pull your hair back with an elastic. Pretty much that's it! 🙂

@Catherine oh I'm sorry! The way I listed it is confusing. The shoes are Miu Miu, only the skirt is from Alainn Bella.
