It took me so long to shoot a “my favorite shoes” video because I could not for the life of me just pick out a few to talk about! I decided that grouping them would be the best so enjoy the first of the series starting with my favorite Louboutins!

I’m wearing a J Crew top (I diy-ed the shoulder sequins) and a J Crew necklace.
Which Louboutins made the cut? Check out the video to find out! 🙂

March 10, 2011 at 7:41 pmJust to confirm that Christian Louboutin's name is pronounced LOO-BOO-TEHNG (the N and G are almost silent)….. almost like saying "tang" but less emphasis on the "g"

March 10, 2011 at 11:40 pmHi Tiffany!
I've always been a fan of your shoe collection! My favorite ones are the pleated black ones. The nudes are my second pick.
Thanks for sharing.

March 11, 2011 at 12:38 amReally awesome and fun video!! I'm interested in owning a pair of high end and high quality heels that I can wear all the time (both at the office and out) How comfortable do you think the Louboutins are? A lot of the cheaper shoes that I own make my feet sweat :S Are all the higher end shoes not have that problem? Sorry.. but I'm never ventured into the market of expensive shoes haha

March 11, 2011 at 4:13 pmYES!! Awesome, T.
My faves are the last pair of suede ones that you don't wear too much.
You know how you had suggested I do a similar video MONTHS ago? Yeah, well, I did one and cannot for the life of me find a (free) video editing software to edit my video, hence why I havent' uploaded it. Since then, I've purchased more shoes and maybe acquired some more faves… sheeeesh.

PS – love what you're wearing (the DIY sequins – awesome!!) – you should try braiding your hair like that now with the cropped hair, I bet it'd look great!

March 11, 2011 at 6:56 pmWonderful video! I want those yellow Loubies so bad! And I love love the cut of the black pleated ones you wear to work. It does seem like it would make one's feet look nice. And I just wanted to say the outfit you are wearing in the video looks fabulous!

March 15, 2011 at 6:28 am@Lainey I think how I pronounce it is correct as I've seen several shows talk about them and that's how they pronounce it too. But who knows we all could be wrong! 🙂

March 15, 2011 at 6:30 am@LC thanks! The shirt was super easy, I just bought gold sequins and glued them on with fabric glue. They haven't fallen off yet which is good! 🙂

March 15, 2011 at 6:30 am@Mariza I don't but I think it's because I really don't wear my shoes for more than a few hours so they never get too gross on the inside.

March 15, 2011 at 6:32 am@Edwina I've never had my feet sweat in my shoes but I'm just not a sweaty person in general so maybe that would help?
Louboutins are not the most comfortable shoes. I'd go for either Jimmy Choo or Miu Miu if you are looking for a comfy designer shoe.

March 15, 2011 at 6:32 am@A.Co Oh man! I'd love to see your shoe video too!

March 24, 2011 at 9:41 pmHi Tiffany,
I bought my first pair of CL but I'm debating whether I should keep them or not. They're patent leather and I see that the leather on the back heel is already a little crinkled (came that way, I called in and they offered me 10% off). My question is…do patent leather shoes hold their shape over time? Do you see wrinkles or cracks on your patent shoes? Thanks so much for any advice you can give me.
iamstylish
March 24, 2011 at 11:44 pm@Sunshine Hi Sunshine! My patent leather CLs have all held up quite nicely. That's unfortunate that they got crinkled on the back, can you take it in to get repaired? They do crinkle a little on the toe area but nothing too bad. I guess also depends on how much you are going to wear them. i don't wear my patent ones as much so that may be why they are still in good shape. But overall I would say that the patent leather still holds up well.
Hope that helps!

March 31, 2011 at 4:07 pmTiffany,
Thank you your being so helpful. I have decided to return those shoes because I couldn't bear my first pair being imperfect even before I wore them. But in true shoes fashion, I purchased another style to replace them haha.
