Lookbook: Winter Blues

It's been one of those crazy weeks where I just have too much to do and no time to even think about putting together an outfit and although I took this lookbook back in February, this outfit, a blouse tucked into jeans and a cross body bag has been my go to outfit as of late.

We went car shopping on Monday and it was such an ordeal! We ended up walking away because the dealer wouldn't match what we wanted.  We went back and forth and they came back with new numbers two times and then we just said No.  We come home to a message from them saying "Oh, actually, we worked our numbers and we're able to come down to your number, blah, blah, blah." Well too bad buddy, I'm gonna let you sweat it out for a few days before I call you back.  Ugh.  The whole process of getting a new car is such a headache.  You should have seen the look on their faces when we said no and walked away, they were shocked, I truly think they thought they had us.  I'm certainly glad that buying cars is the only thing you have to play these kind of games with in order to buy something.

Madewell Skydot Matinee Blouse
I'm in love with the pinwheel blouse. I'm going to try to go to Madewell soon to try it on. I'm on a blouse kick and I just ordered a bunch from Modcloth (my first order from them!) including the
Violet Love Top, Purely Pleasant Top, Make an Orna-mental Note Top and a few other things.  I never really like ordering things from a store that I'm not sure about sizing so I hope they work out!

Madewell Vintage Rocker Jeans In Chasm Wash

You know I love my skinny jeans but I'm working the flares a bit more into my wardrobe.  Going to go for these Bell Bottom jeans next! Not sure if I'm ready for that much flare but will see how they look on me.

Rebecca Minkoff MAC Clutch

I really like the new colorblock MAC clutch as well.  I'm not sure I'm ready to commit to a clutch without a strap yet as I can't imagine holding my bag in my hand all day long but I was at Nordstrom the other day and looked at this Yves Saint Laurent 'Belle de Jour Clutch which I really liked.  It is perfect for a night out but I've had so many friends that go out with clutches and as the night goes on, the clutch gets forgotten on a table or seat and then we spend the rest of the night trying to find it!  But I do love the look of a clutch even for the day so, maybe... still deciding.  What do you think of clutches?
