Adding to my Chanel Collection: Chanel Bag Reveal

I heart you guys because you all love my purchases as much as I love them! 🙂 It’s like when I get texts from my friends of “Look what I got!!” I always do a little squeal of joy for them and that’s what I feel like you guys do for me! I love this little network of ladies (and men!) who appreciate the love of getting pretty new things. Sure it may be superficial but I’m glad to be surrounded by superficial people. (haha!  I joke!  We aren’t superficial, we just have good taste.) 🙂

Anyway, got lots of requests to see my new baby and after a few times of carrying her out (all of which were raining, grrr) I am still in love!  She’s so buttery soft and just the right size.  Just thought I’d show her right out of the box (I took these the day I brought her home) before I post a lookbook with her.

The name of the bag is the “Ultimate Stitch” and sizing wise it’s longer than a M/L classic flap.  I brought it home and my husband said “You bought a dachshund version of a Chanel bag!” as it’s long and skinny like our pups 🙂  So funny but true.

Here’s a little preview of the lookbook and you can see the size a little bit better.

The inside has two sections and an internal zipper pocket.  It actually holds a lot of stuff!  My regular classic flaps only hold a wallet, phone and maybe a small cosmetic bag and this one holds all of that plus a reusable bag and my regular cosmetic bag.  I love that this one can hold a bit more.  You can change the straps several ways, the regular double strap, one long strap which can be worn over the shoulder or crossbody and if you tuck the straps in, it makes for a great oversized clutch!  It’s so versatile which was one of the reasons why I chose it over the others I was contemplating.
I’m going to tell you that I’m not really into showing my bags on the blog but I’ve been trying to integrate some into my lookbooks.   I’ve had several requests for a bag collection post and I’m super hesitant but I don’t mind showing you guys a few of my bags… expect a video blog soon! Also, if you missed my “what’s in my bag” video post, click the link to see what I carry in one of my vintage Chanel bags.  Also, the fabulous Tam over at Get it Girl Style featured me in a post about what I carry in my bag so click on over to see the post and also check out her weekly series which she features a different blogger and what’s in their bag!

The shape and structure of your ultimate stitch is so gorgeous. I like that it's different from a classic flap (although I love those too) and it certainly does look roomier. And yes us readers always love to see fabulous new purchases! A few of my non-blog friends are the same way, but the vast majority don't appreciate "materialistic" things, if you will. The other day my female coworker said "What is Chanel?" and you should've seen my jaw fall open.

Oh she's beautiful Tiffany! I was just in Chanel last week and tried on the classic flaps in differing sizes. I'm saving for the jumbo =) Please do a collection video or a faves video as I and everyone else would love to see! I know it might feel odd to showcase, but I actually think it would be helpful for those of us who are interested in getting a designer bag but don't know where to begin!

*SQUEAL* omg excuse the squealing but i looking at your new chanel baby makes me feel like a little piggie HAHAHAHA

ok i have no idea what that means.. but i'm SO EXCITED she's G-O-R-G-E-O-U-S. i mean seriously stunning.. i like that it's a differing take on the normal classic flap.. plus i feel like everyone has a classic black flap these days.. yours really stands out from the rest!!

and i really love how roomy it looks.. i get really frustrated with my flaps because i feel like i can barely fit my essentials in them.

Eeeee! It's absolutely GORGEOUS Tiff! I LOVE the size and the oversized quilting and stitching! Is it the napa leather? My napa leather bag wears off from rubbing and now I'm scared to use it. My first was the caviar leather and I think I'd always stick with that since it doesn't show wear. Eek – love love love it! And the daschund of Chanel? hilarious and true!

Love the bag Tiff! We don't have any Chanel boutiques near us so it's great to see what different styles are out there.

    February 13, 2012 at 2:35 am

I've been looking for a less-structured Chanel and this seems like the perfect alternative to the flaps. Do you agree? Also, would you mind me asking what the retail price was? Thanks!
