Spring flowers DIY

As I mentioned last week, I’ve been picking up flowers from the market every week to decorate and brighten up our place.  I got this bundle of flowers for a good price and although they were all pretty, I didn’t like them all clumped together so I separated them and made 3 different bouquets!

This is what it looked like when it came from the market (I took this picture with my iPhone, the others are all with my dslr)

I forgot to photograph the third bouquet but it was a purple mix of flowers. I love that I got 3 different bouquets out of that one bunch, all for $19.99!  Just goes to show, don’t let the set flower arrangement that the market puts together sway you into thinking that’s the way they should stay.  Take apart the arrangement and see what flowers look good together and make your own little DIY flower arrangements.  Easy peasy and so much cheaper than buying bundles of flowers separately!

Getting delivered flowers is also a great option!

Such a great idea. I always see bouquets with multiple flowers, and that's such a great way to save money!

This is such a great idea! I am not always crazy about how the mixed bouquets look at the market but I love how you deconstructed the bouquet! Flowers always instantly improve my mood:)

I love flowers! I actually did a posting on "artificial flowers for the lazies" (haha…i know, contradicts the meaning) But on lazy weeks when you just dont have time to go out and buy fresh cuts… the fake ones come in handy!
