Onto the outfit! I searched high and low for pink pants and my first stop in San Francisco was Zara where I had a suspicion that they would have them and they did! They had 2 pairs that I really wanted but I ended up just taking these home as I thought 2 pairs of pink pants may be a bit excessive (but now I want the other pair. haha) My outfit was inspired by an outfit I saw in a magazine as I loved how they styled the pink pants with the ribbon belt so that's exactly what I did! It's just a fun twist to the usual belt and I'm loving it. Just go to the fabric store and buy a ribbon that's long enough to fit your waist! Super easy and cheap too!

J Crew Tuxedo Shirt
These are a more loose fitting trouser in the same fun pink color or these ASOS skinny jeans are super similar to mine (but limited sizes). Delia's also has a cute pair, for a whopping $9.99!
I mentioned on a previous lookbook how much I love these pumps and I still do! If you are a size 6.5 you are so lucky as Bluefly.com has the same pair for 20% off! I'm also dying for these two tone peep-toe pumps. So pretty!! The Cole Haan Air Talia pumps are great for a "designer" pump but at a better price point.
"What Goes Around Come Around Vintage" bags are always in fantastic shape but they are all still really expensive. Still, I do love looking at their selection of bags and jewelry. And if you haven't read my post on my tips of where/how to buy vintage Chanel, click here!

I don't wear pants, but that color is fabulous!
ReplyDeleteLOVE those pants!!!!! I know I'll be hitting up Zara soon ;D
ReplyDeleteWhat a great color combo! Love the ribbon belt.
ReplyDeleteoh yeah, your new lookbook style is great! they definitely has a more editorial feel to them. i did like the no-nonsense approach to your former lookbooks, though. they both look fantastic; you & your husband are a great team. and you are just so darn cute!
ReplyDeletei tried those pants on at zara and they just didn't look right on me. but you pull them off very well!

awkwardly chic
Gorgeous outfit ;)
ReplyDeleteI really like the "What I'm Wearing" first picture with all of the details of your outfit. However, I loved how your lookbook was different from all those "moody" bloggers. You actually smiled and looked like you were having fun while wearing the outfit. Still looks like you're having fun, but your unique happy photos is why we love you so much, Tiffany!
ReplyDeleteThe pink pants are so cute tho! I wish Seattle had a Zara.
xoxo

the pants are so cute!
ReplyDeleteHas anyone bought from WGACA? I was wondering what comes with the chanel bag (authenticity card, dust bag, etc)
ReplyDeleteReally great look. I am wanting more color denim right now. I will be heading to Zara soon. I love the site layout changes too. =)
ReplyDeleteZara would definitely be my first stop for pink pants too! I love yours because they're a more muted pink rather than bright neon (which is still cool but I personally would never feel comfortable wearing).
ReplyDeletexo, alison*elle
I am in love with the color of those pants! Great outfit :)
ReplyDelete@Erika Alc you don't wear pants? Like at all? Wow, I'm intrigued! I think you may be the first person I know that doesn't! :)
ReplyDelete@Edwina yeah! definitely, they have a ton of different colors too!
ReplyDelete@Planned Style thanks! Can't go wrong with pink and white and a little black splashed in right?
ReplyDelete@suzanne Thanks so much Suzanne! I so appreciate that my husband has the patience to put up with my demands :)
ReplyDelete@Agnes in Wonderland Thank you Agnes! Hope you are enjoying your Monday!
ReplyDelete@Hilary Thanks so much Hilary! I really appreciate your comment. I'm still trying to incorporate "me" into these photos because like you said, I'm just not one of those "moody" bloggers, I mean I can try to be but my photos turn out horrendous when I do! So I'm still trying to be "me" while trying to change up the photo look. A bit of a growing pain I suppose :)
ReplyDeleteI SO wish Zara was in Seattle! it annoys me to no end that it doesn't.
@Annie Hi Annie! Thanks!
ReplyDelete@Christine I haven't personally but WGACA is such a well known vintage dealer that I would think that it would come with all of the extras. It's just too bad that it doesn't say so on the website. I even looked on their main website but it still doesn't say. Maybe you can contact Aloha Rag which is also a very reputable store, and ask them. I'm sure they'd tell you!
ReplyDelete@Tee I'm on such a colored denim kick but surprisingly they are hard to find! I also didn't want to spend too much money as who knows if I'll love this trend next year so these were the perfect price point.
ReplyDelete@alison*elle yeah, the other pair that I left behind were way more neon so I thought that they would be harder to pull off. I still love the brighter pair but I think these are more wearable.
ReplyDelete@Gracey thank you Gracey!
ReplyDeleteAdore this outfit tiff! It's classic but with an unexpected twist with the pink zara pants!
ReplyDeleteHaha I think might have the "other" zara pink pants you are referring too!!!
I really love your new outfit photos, they feel more artsy and really shows off you and J's awesome photography skillz ;) Not that anything was wrong with your shots before, I loved those too! And I do love that you still keep your personality in your photos, because if you turned into a "moody" blogger that never smiles... that would not be you. :)
ReplyDeleteAnd I've been looking for pink pants, too! I really wish we had a Zara around here. :( I love how you kept it simple with a white top and the ribbon belt (love that idea!) and simple pumps. Such a pretty look!
Just wanted to add that I saw a JCrew shirt thats similar and is long sleeved... here for only $29.99! http://www.jcrew.com/womens_feature/catalogjcrewcomexclusives/shirts/PRDOVR~36328/99102227930/ENE~1+2+3+22+4294967294+20~15~~20+17+4294967139~15~~~~~~~/36328.jsp

I noticed the new format, I love it. Also was going to post an outfit with my pink jeans, haven't gotten to it yet :) Love the bag!
ReplyDeleteLove. It. I'm at a loss for anything else to say! Other than I really like the contrast of the black belt and shoes against the light pink and white shirt.
ReplyDeleteCome take a look inside A Working Mom's Closet
Love love love. Love the color and everything!
ReplyDeleteI am so jealous of all your shoe collection :)
ReplyDeletei've been wanting that pair of pink pants from zara but they never have my size! so jealous. you look amazing as always. xx
ReplyDeletepink pants! i just turned a pair of old pink bootcut pants into skinnies :P they look fab on you!
ReplyDeleteI like your smiley, non-pretentious poses! I love the pink pants too....
ReplyDeleteWhite shirt with pink pants? Love it. The black ribbon was a nice touch. Unfussy outfit.
ReplyDeleteMy husband and I always poke fun at these pretentious, eye down, stare at space longing for someone and the moody "I declare I hate the world" ice princess shots that had overdone by many fashion bloggers.
Smile, look at the camera and say CHEESE. Is it so difficult to put a smile on face?
