Don’t let the presence of the sun fool you in these photos. We took these in April (if you can’t tell I’m always about a month behind in my lookbooks) and it was still freezing out, hence still wearing the winter coat. Anyway, did you have a good weekend? Mine was busy! One of the highlights was a brunch at Citizen. Ever since hubs and I discovered their amazing breakfast sandwich – Your choice of apple smoked bacon, Black Forest ham or veggie patty. Served on our homemade savory biscuit with white cheddar cheese, egg, spinach, tomato & crΓ¨me fraiche – we’ve been obsessed and went there again this weekend to indulge in the deliciousness. The homemade biscuit is to die for. Yum! The crepes there are great too. I’m a huge fan of crepes which is why we went there in the first place. Other crepe places in Seattle that we love? Anita’s crepes in Ballard and 611 Supreme in Capitol Hill. I don’t know how many times I get asked for my list of recommendations of places to eat in Seattle. One day, I will write a post but considering how much I love food and how Seattle has amazing food and restaurants, I’m thinking it will seriously take me a whole month to write it. π I’m thinking about adding food posts to the blog though just for a change!
I’ve been on a lightweight printed blouse kick. They are great worn on its own without having to add too much to style the outfit. My favorite place to buy them at is at Madewell and ASOS. You can find some great inexpensive ones at Forever 21 as well, like this floral printed blouse (love the crochet detail) or this long sleeve blouse that I would wear with a pair of white shorts and nude wedge sandals.
SO many cute pleated skirts out now. I want to add a few more to my closet. I’ve got my eye on this gray pleated skirt and I super love this lace pleated skirt from Forever 21. AND I love the color of this peachy one and this bright blue one too! Too many to choose from, I can’t narrow it down!
If you are looking to invest in a nice classic pair of pumps, THESE are it! I love them so much! People often ask me what brand I recommend most and I absolutely love Miu Miu shoes as I find them all to be very comfortable. If you want a pair of sexy black pumps, Louboutin is your man, but for a great classic and comfortable pump that will last you years, I would highly recommend these babies. I got them a few weeks ago and I’m trying not to wear them with every single outfit but I can’t help it, I love them!
I also love the nude version of these pumps. Looking for a more affordable version? Check out the Nine West Rocha Pumps (which come in a ton of different colors as well) on sale for $59!

May 17, 2011 at 7:42 amTiffany, I LOVE the set up of this post. I font on the first photo is beautiful and I love all of the different photos. My favorite is the 2nd to last with your lower body and your shadow. Very creative! I love how these photos don't just document your outfit but they are very good photographically as well. May 23, 2011 at 4:53 pmIs your vintage chanel bag the same one you included the link for from WGACA? Yours seems a little more square. Thanks!
