I definitely do need new wedges as I only own a few (and to be honest, not usually a fan of them on me) but decided to give them another try this summer. I'm loving the gray and yellow combo of the Louboutins!
And espadrilles are a "must" for the summer but I don't own any! Time to change that!

So, should I go for the pumps that I would wear all the time (but already own a million pumps) or the wedges/espadrilles that I may only get to wear during the summer but would add a good mix to the shoe wardrobe? Which ones would you get?

ReplyDeleteI would have to say go with the Louboutin & YSL wedges and, perhaps, the Paloma espadrille. Branch out of the comfort zone, right?
ReplyDeleteThose designer wedges are hot but I'd probably opt for a pair of pumps (because you'd get more wear out of them) and a cheaper pair of wedges like the Tory Burch ones.
ReplyDeleteThose Miu Miu wedges are cool! Espadrilles are also pretty but they have two big drawbacks- the material of the wedge is difficult to clean and if they meet water they're broken :(

that's so funny because i'm not a big wedge or espadrille persn either.. i just like pumps i think because they make your legs look longer.. plus i agree with you on the seasonal aspect.. you just can't get as much use out of them.. especially since you live in seattle.. and i live in sf.. where for 90 percent of the year it's cold.. and now that i'm moving to germany it seems like i'll have EVEN less use for them.. ahahaha. but i digress.. i bought a cheapy pair from target by dolce vita.. so i'm gonna try them out for a bit and see if i like them enough to invest in a more expensive pair.. but the YSL's are so cute.. they look like you're about to vacay in st. tropez!

Drool...I vote for Louboutin -dressy but casual too. My personal pick for me would be the YSL. I saw the Miu Miu on Mia of Mia Apres Chanel but I forget which post.
