Sparkly Louboutins for doughnuts? Yup, that’s how I do it. 🙂
Hubs always laugh at my choice of footwear because I seem to wear the most inappropriate (in other people’s eyes, not my eyes) footwear. He’ll look down at my feet and say “Oh yes, 5 inch Miu Miu heels* for Costco, how appropriate.” LOL. But my reasoning is that if you buy shoes for “special” occasions you’ll never wear them so why not just pull them out for every day and get the joy out of them that was intended when you bought them? Everyday is a special occasion in my book!
*I have to say that I’m most impressed with my husband’s memory of shoe designers and recognizing them. He almost always gets it right. Oh how I’ve trained him well. hehehe 😉
I got mine at Zara a few months ago but not sure if they still have it available. Did you hear though? Zara is finally going to open their online shop in September! YAY!! I just bought this schoolboy blazer from J Crew (you’ll see it in a lookbook soon) in the pink and I love it! So lightweight, great for the summer and it’s on sale now! I just realized I now have 3 pink blazers. Can’t ever get enough of them!
I think for the fall I’m going to try to incorporate some more wide legs and flares into my wardrobe so I just bought these 7 For all Mankind Bellbottom Jeans that Rachel Zoe made famous. They are super flare which feel so funny to me and I’m still a bit undecided on how they look on me but I think I’m keeping them.
My shoes are the Louboutin Glitter Ron Ron pumps which they don’t make anymore but I see some pop on ebay from time to time. (just make sure to get them authenticated!) These glitter pumps are similar and under $100! And check out the Dolce & Gabbana pink lace bow pumps, love!
My Jewelry: Bhuddist beads from Taiwan and vintage bangle. Friendship bracelets made by me, the one with the rhinestone I just took apart a vintage necklace I wasn’t wearing and put it on top of the bracelet. I may have to try making this bracelet next! (or I guess I could just buy it. haha) This stack of bracelets looks pretty much like my stack, all for under $10!
