I was so overwhelmed and happy about all the support and great messages I got on my last post about the Nike Training Club app. I'm so happy that so many of you are joining me on getting healthy and fit together!
As I mentioned before, I'm doing the "Get Lean" program and am still really enjoying the workouts. I've done both the "beginner" and "intermediate" levels and not noticed a huge difference as all the workouts that I've done keep my heart rate up and get me out of breath! The workouts are definitely varied enough to keep me interested and actually get me excited for my next workout. As far as my progress, here's a screenshot after my last workout...
For those of you who haven't done the workouts just yet, it's super easy to start! Just download the app here and basically just follow along to the workouts! You can see my detailed description of the app in this post. I do my workouts at my health club in the empty classroom (I wait until a good time of day when I know there won't be classes for at least an hour) and the best part is that you don't need much equipment to do these workouts. In the photo below is all that I use in almost all the workouts: dumbells, medicine ball, a mat, and the ever important water bottle and towel. I've had a few of you ask about what exactly I wear to the gym so I snapped a quick pic of my outfit, which you will always see me in a variation of this. I truly believe in getting the right gear for working out, including clothing so will write about my faves in a later post.
