I've got lots of fun stuff planned for the rest of this week including an advanced screening party for the New Girl (that new TV show with Zooey Deschanel - love her!) with one of my very favorite girls whom I met through blogging.  So excited to have some girly time with her!  Anyone else going?  Please say hi if you see me there!

Happy long weekend to those of you that get the day off and happy shopping!!  Don't forget to use the code to get the discount!

P.S. If you love making your own jewelry, check out my tutorial on how to make your own cocktail rings!

  3. @Michelle the 3 stone dangles have a good weight to them but they aren't super heavy. They are definitely wearable for the whole day. Hope that helps! Thanks for checking out our line! :)

  9. I know I am probably the only one, and I am late to say anything, but I do not like the evolution of this blog. It used to be so personal and lovely. Now it's polished and professional in a way that detracts from the old charm. I wish you luck in your business ventures, and am glad you're able to do something you enjoy, but I find myself coming here less and less.

  10. @Erly I'm sorry but we won't be getting anymore in! but we will have another style coming in that is pink and gold that you might love!

  11. @Marlie A. Hi Marlie, I really appreciate your feedback. It was something that I thought about when starting the business about how much of the business I wanted to put on my blog but to be honest, it's only been 3 weeks since we launched and I think I'm allowed to be excited and want to talk about it since it's the biggest thing that's going on in my life right now. The feedback that I've gotten from other readers is that they love it and all the support that I've gotten is amazing. I do understand your point of view as well and I do plan on having less t+j posts in the future, as I'd like for the business to grow on it's own, beyond my blog but for right now, I guess if you can stick through it, I'd appreciate it. If not, I completely understand.

I think you'll also find that in the evolution of my blog as I went from 1,000 readers to 100,000 readers, you just can't get too personal anymore. I either get scared of my safety or I get attacked in comments. It's harder and harder to keep it personal as my blog grows. I do still try to do 3 posts a week that have nothing to do with my business (other than mentioning the items that I wear in my lookbook posts) but my time has been consumed by so many other things that I can't manage to get posts up all the time. I've also essentially given up my career to pursue this dream and in doing so I've had to take on some sponsored posts to make up for the income that I used to make in my career. I hope that you can't blame a girl for wanting to make money on something that she works so hard on.

If you do want to get a more "personal" side of me, please join me on my facebook page or twitter where I often share things beyond this blog. Again, thanks for your comment. I'm truly open to your suggestions so please feel free to email me!

  12. So pretty! I've stopped wearing earrings a long time ago (ears too sensitive) but you're making me really want some. Also, I'm so happy that you guys are doing so well with the new business. The jewelery is just gorgeous and stylish (or, style-ish? hehe)

I'm also continued to be amazed at how well you handle negative comments. :)

  13. It wasn't a negative comment, it wasn't rude or even accusatory. It was honest. Tiffany, you handled it with grace and poise and for that I find myself coming here more and more.

P.S - I love your new jewelry line! Those dangling earrings have been on my mind for a while. What are they made of? I have allergies to certain metals.

  16. Wow...gorgeous earrings..! Thank you for sharing :) I agree with the comments that it is hard to keep things personal....especially somebody like you who gets so many viewers - but you are lucky to have readers like Maria A is such a long time fan :) I love your Twitter by the way! I agree that it is more personal :)

  18. @Anonymous Sorry I just saw your comment! Yes, our earrings are nickel-free as my sister has an allergy so we wanted to make sure she could wear them too.
