Burberry Body

There is something about the holiday season that makes me want to wear and buy perfume more often.  I think it might be all the gift sets that come out during this time of the year, I'm a sucker for them :)  I have quite a few that I love but really only use two as my "regulars".  When I was approached about reviewing the new Burberry Body fragrance, I was a bit skeptical because I'm really picky about perfumes and really do not like certain scents.  When I was out shopping I stopped by the perfume counter to give it a test to discover that it was something that I actually liked.  I accepted the review and got my bottle.  You know how scents always change when they are on your body so I wanted to test it out for a week before I did my review.  At first when it comes out of the bottle, it's a bit strong but once it settles into your skin it becomes just a nice and light fragrance.  I would classify it in the "fresh and floral" kind of scents.  For my perfume tastes, I land way more on the "fresh" side of things in that I like the clean smell without any super overpowering fragrances.  Burberry Body is definitely in that category but a little stronger than I'm used to.  I usually spray my wrists and my neck but since this is a bit stronger, I just stick to spraying my wrists.

I know perfume reviews are probably pretty impossible to do over the internet but I do appreciate reading what other's like because when I get to the perfume counter, I can at least have some idea of what I want to try.  I think that the Burberry Body is definitely more of a "winter" fragrance than a summer one so I'm happy to put away some of my lighter fragrances to use this one.  In fact, I'm already putting together my holiday party outfit and I think that the Burberry Body will be a great complement to my outfit and the bottle even matches my shoes! :)

BURBERRY invites you to discover the new fragrance for women.
BURBERRY BODY is a feminine and sensual floral woody fragrance with an eclectic combination of luxurious, refined notes. The scent has top notes of fresh green absinthe, illuminating elegant peach and refined freesia. The floral bouquet of natural rose absolute and iris blends gently with subtle warm tones of sandalwood to form the heart notes. Woody cashmeran, creamy vanilla, sensual amber and musk compose the base notes of this unique and seductive fragrance.

  5. ohhh I have to try it. I'm looking for a new scent. I have been a fan of Vera Wang and bought her Princess fragrance but it's too strong on me. Gives me a headache the entire day. So hopefully Burberry Body will be a better experience.

  13. I looooove those shoes. I love pumps as much as you but I love JC sandals. JC makes the absolute best strappy heels. OH and I'm going to have the give Burberry body a second chance. I'm currently contemplating the purchase of the Burberry mens for moi. Colognes seem to appeal to me more than perfumes do but I'm going to have to give Burberry Body another go. I like Gucci Guilty for women too!
