Lookbook: Popsicle

What I’m Wearing
Popsicle Top c/o Tulle -it’s now on sale!
Madewell Skirt – I’m loving red skirts, I think it will work great into the fall and winter as well.  Love this one from Topshop too.
t+j Designs jewelry – wearing a few of our new arrivals!
Pretty in Purple Collar Necklace: this is such a fun piece and the purple is great for fall.  Comes with earrings too.
24K Gold Large Chain Bracelet: we have a couple of new chain bracelets.  This one is a bit heavier than our Gold Chain Link bracelet that you’ve seen me wear a lot.  Both are great, just depends on if you want a heavier chain or more of an everyday layering kind of bracelet.
24K Gold Watch Strap Bracelet: I have a lot of favorites of our jewelry but this one really is one of my favorites.  I love that it’s not just a typical gold bracelet and love the watch strap look.
Chloe Sunglasses similar here for under $90.
Prada Wedges – these are one of the shoes I found at the Nordstom Rack Designer Shoe Sale and they are definitely one of my best buys.  They are one of my few wedges and they are super comfy.  Similar here and here.
Proenza Schouler PS1 Keep All – If you like the color of mine, it’s called Orchid. You can’t get it in the Keep All anymore but they have it in the crossbody bag and the clutch.

Thank you so much for those of you that left me comments, sent me emails and facebook messages about helping out and offering advice about my stomach issues.  It’s not something I like to talk about as it’s been pretty rough on me healthwise and that’s never fun to talk about.  I really appreciate those of you that have shared your similar experiences and what you’ve done.  I wish there was a cure all for everyone but it seems to be a long process for everyone to figure out just exactly what is going on.  Anyway, just want to say thanks again, it means a lot.

On another note, quite a few new arrivals for my jewelry line!  Lots of adorable bow items (and if you like them, I suggest you get them soon as our bow items seem to always be our best sellers and sell out quickly.) and our Layered Links which are the perfect bracelets to stack with each other or with almost any other bracelets.

i love these colours on you T! i agree that red will be wonderful for fall as well. i'm sorry to hear about your stomach issues.. i read you're trying to eliminate everything from your diet to figure it out. has your doctor said anything about gastroesophegeal reflux disease (GERD). not a disease per se but where your stomach generates too much acid and basically makes it very uncomfortable after each meal (and when you lie down). my dad had similar problems and it took a while for them to figure it out. they can give you meds for it. xox p

Thanks PhiPhi! I'm seeing my doctor later this week so I'll ask her about it as I hadn't heard about it.

I was diagnosed with GERD in college. I took the prescription meds for a few years but haven't taken any since about 2004. I do take acidophilus pearls every day and that's helped immensely. But stomach problems are no fun, especially when they keep you up! Hope you feel better. xoxo.

i would have never thought to mix the purple and red together, but you do it very well! the outfit is so cute.
hope you feel better soon! i used to have lots of stomach issues…IBS, ulcers…i basically couldn't eat a thing without having to run to the bathroom immediately afterwards which was not only embarrassing but made it tough to have a social life. i lost a lot of weight as well. i took digestive enzyme supplements which really helped, and over time, the problem disappeared on its own! i really hope they figure out what is causing it for you!

I've been trying the digestive enzymes for the past few months but unfortunately no affect on me. I'm glad that you aren't having problems anymore. Hopefully I'll be able to figure out what will help me out soon!

Love all the bright pops of colour! I've been seeing a lot more jewel tones lately since fall is coming, but nothing like an amazingly bright outfit to remind me to live up the rest of my summer!

Love the color combo on your outfit. So pretty and well put together. 🙂

I just purchased my first T+Jdesigns mix gold chain bracelet. I can't wait to receive it and start using it in my OOTDs' arm candy!

Those colors go so well together. If you didn't point out that it was a popsicle print I wouldn't have noticed! Very cool top.. they're like abstract popsicles. ha.

oh btw, sorry to hear about your stomach issues. My stomach is pretty sensitive as well. I tried papaya enzymes but I didn't notice any real difference. I would suggest eating foods that are easier on the stomach (i.e non-greasy/processed) and see if that helps at all.

    Hope you figure it out!
