Deadly Ponies

I love my designer handbags but I hate the price tags that come with them. Even though I love Chloe/Prada/Miu Miu designs I also know I'm paying a premium for the name. And these days with most high end designers doing price increases (I'm looking at you CHANEL!) it discourages me even more from buying them. I get torn between saving up to buy a designer bag or go for a bag that doesn't have the brand name but has great quality and better price point. I recently discovered Deadly Ponies and I loooove the designs. I haven't seen one in person but doesn't the leather look so soft and buttery? These are by no means cheap but they are cheaper than most designer handbags but I think the price is reasonable based on the quality and being from a smaller designer.

3. Mr. Mini Chain Mail

4. Mr. Leopard

I think Mr. Chain Mail is calling my name the most. I usually wouldn't choose a pink bag, but I love the blush/rose of this one and the pink chain!

What about you guys? Do you tend to save up for the designer bags or go for ones that are still great quality but no "high end" designer name attached to it?

These bags are gorgeous !! Thanks for the introduction...I love Mr Chain Mail and Mr Leopard ! I tend to save up for bags but also throw a few non designer bags into the mix every so often. Love these!

Personally I used to buy just any bags until I realized why not just save up for the designer bags because those are my #1 loves. Instead of keep buying non-designer bags when in the end it can equal to one designer bag. That was what my way of thinking was before. But lately as you stated with price increases jumping up so high (Yeah Chanel!) it doesn't hurt to look at other bags that doesn't have such a hefty price tag.. except lately all I've been looking at are Celine bags...sigh.. >.< lol

Those bags definitely look more expensive than they are! And I always struggle whether to splurge on designer bags. So pretty but so expensive!

I like Mr Chain Mail but even more Mr. Leopard, but all of them are so cure and looks like they are good quality.

i always face that dilemma. most of the time, the more affordable bags win out. although if i go somewhere memorable on vacation i buy a bag from there as my souvenir. that way it'll always have special memories attached to it. PLUS it makes going on vacation even more exciting when i know i can go home with something nice.lol.
