I love these images of Elizabeth Taylor and thought they were excellent inspiration for me to take the old Hollywood style into something more modern.
I went with a LBD that was simple but with a sexy twist, lots of statement jewels and the perfect complement to the outfit, a bright red lip and dark eyes.
And if you need inspiration on the makeup, check out this beautiful photo of her and the gorgeous eye makeup. Lots and lots of liner with just a hint of glitter and full long lashes, it's perfection!

And lastly, a few words to live by... :)

Lindsay Lohan stars as the legendary dame Elizabeth Taylor alongside Grant Bowler as celebrated actor Richard Burton in the Lifetime Original Movie Liz & Dick, making its world premiere Sunday, November 25, at 9pm ET on Lifetime. Based on the true story of the couple’s passionate and tumultuous love affair Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton were Hollywood royalty and their fiery romance -- often called “the marriage of the century” -- was the most notorious, publicized and celebrated love affair of its day. http://www.mylifetime.com/movies/liz-and-dick

I love that black dress, so classic and beautiful! And I love Liz Taylor, she just oozes elegance!

I've been on the fence about this movie since the word came out that Lindsey Lohan was cast as Liz Taylor. Though I think Elizabeth is simply divine (and her style, her beauty..swoon worthy), I'm really not a huge fan of Lindsey. I hope she does Ms. Taylor justice!

I think you got it right in one! This is something I can definitely see Liz wearing and rocking :)
ReplyDeleteI actually really want to see this! I think LiLo definitely takes on Liz Taylor well.

I love that quote!
ReplyDeleteLove that quote as well. I wouldn't even call it old Hollywood, more like classic beauty. Xo Inna
