I went shopping yesterday and had to update you guys on the extra 30% off on sale items at J Crew! It’s not online and not sure how long it’s going to last in store but make sure to check it out. There is a ton of cute stuff!
I love the polka dot Blythe Blouse but unfortunately the smallest size they had was a 2. I typically take a 00 and occasionally a 0 in the Blythe and the 2 was just a bit too baggy for me. The little crinkle skirt is adorable and is $28 after the 30% discount! I tried on a few different sizes to see how my bump would grow with it. The skirt on the left is a 0 and the skirt on the right is a 2. I like the poofiness of the 2 better so if you want that look, size up!
I’ve been so into peter pan collars lately and love that this little sweater is short sleeve. Perfect for the spring/summer when it finally warms up around here. It’s not on sale online but I got it for $35! And the cardigan is a nice staple that I don’t have so thought it would be great to have in my wardrobe. (The pants I’m wearing here are these ones from Madewell. Shoes are Dior.)
YSL Rouge Volupte Shine – part of me buys it because the packaging is so pretty but I do love the lipstick formula as well. It goes on smoothly and never dries out my lips.
Alterna Bamboo Smooth Kendi Oil Dry Oil Mist – my favorite hair product. It not only smells good but a spritz of this helps keep my hair healthy and makes it shiny.
And Kate Spade is having 25% off Friends & Family sale.

April 13, 2013 at 7:00 amI love the blythe blouses, but I liked the polka dots in the boy shirt best. Thanks for sharing how the crinkle skirt fits – even though the (additional) sale is over, I may still consider purchasing it!

April 13, 2013 at 12:27 pmthe Kate Spade pumps are fab! I tried the blythe blouse once but the fit is weird on me. I have big chest and small shoulders so size 6 is too small on the chest but size 8 fits baggy on the shoulders 🙁
Glad to see you're still in shopping spirit. I kinda stopped once I got pregnant until after I gave birth. Was worried things would be too small soon. Weirdly enough I never gained a lot of weight and most my normal stuff fit till 9 months so I say enjoy shopping 😀
